it seems the Spuds grand plan isn't working as well as they, errr... planned

They've finished above us for the past 3 seasons so they must be doing something right, or we were doing something wrong.

Lets hope the new board can reverse the trend. O0

and in the last decade ?

Fact is, they had a "plan", and these "plans" are foolproof success blueprints aren't they ? Or is it just that we now have a better manager ? What do you think ?

Seriously though, I hate Spurs, always enjoyed seeing them lose. The media bum them EVERY pre-season.

Hillarious. What are the papers going to write tomorrow? The media darlings who in the old days used to be part of the big 5 (Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton and the Arse) even though they got nowhere near winning the league, are now talked up to be 5th at worst. Hell will freeze over before you see them mounting a Jol out campaign though.

Who said they had a foolproof plan?

They've been run better than us over the past few years without doubt, not just by having a better manager but by having a chairman with vision who have turned the club into a top5 team over the past 2 seasons while remaining debt free, hopefully Mort is the man to sort this club out.

I still see you're bitter about Shepherd though. Get over it.

Lee Carsley is so underrated it's untrue. Excellent at what he does.

Nothing flash, just win it and give it.

Yet he wasn't considered good enough to make the Ireland squad for our game in Greece last year, even though we had a number of injuries.

Kevin Kilbane and Stephen Ireland started in central midfield, what good balance.

We lost 5-2.

Honestly, Steve Staunton is a legend.

Say's an awful lot about Stan tbh.  :undecided:

Carsley just sits in there and does exactly what he's supposed to.

This says more.

He plays Steve Finnan at left back and John O'Shea at right back.

Glad we've never signed Defoe, obviously never got used to t'idea of not being miles better than any other player on the pitch as was surely the case in his teens.

PASS THE BALL jackass.
