  1. We were just as s*** last season as well when you couldn't stop telling people people Bruce was doing a good job This run has been worst than last season. At no point did I say Bruce did a good job. I said last season, he did an okay job. Stop lying Nobody, not a good look. I think you actually claimed Bruce had “Done a good job with team spirit”. That seems to have vanished now for some reason. Perhaps he hadn’t done a good job with that supposed team spirit after all?
  2. Do we know for an absolute fact that relegation is a show stopper ? They've spent so long on this, it would be a decision made on such short term thinking if they dropped it because of relegation. With the right structure and management in place, quick promotion back to the PL could be achieved. Buying the club will be a long term plan so it would appear a bit silly to dump it all for maybe 1/2 years in the championship. They want the club because of it's potential. Relegation doesn't take that potential away. All of the “ITK’s” have stated that it’s off it we’re relegated. Should we choose to believe that they know the takeover is still on but ignore that part?
  3. Werner’s head is gone, can barely trap the ball now. Looks like a Newcastle player.
  4. What’s wrong with Werner? Just lacking confidence?
  5. I’ll break a habit and return to the land of doom and gloom. You’re spot on the tweet is being overly construed as negative, there could be an announcement from Saudi this week according to Jacobs on this very issue. The agreement between Arab nations involved the dropping of all legal actions, the general consensus is this will happen, we just need to hope it happens this week to break deadlock. You’re saying it’s going through this week? I’m saying news of Bein being reinstated may be made clearer this week. Look I’m as pissed off about the current situation as anyone, and the current situation is very worrying. However, as someone else just said earlier why would Bein situation stop arbitration ? The answer is it wouldn’t directly, however if the PL have indicated in proceeding so far that Bein being reinstated changes things, why not hold off and wait for that. This is why I believe 2 of Keith’s last 3 tweets have referenced this. So if bein is announced to be broadcast in Saudi Arabia the prem will drop everything and the deal will go through ? Nah, still the big 6 to convince.
  6. I forgot today was Sunday. Give it another couple of days then he's gone. Let's say Wednesday. For someone who is so cynical about the takeover still being in the wings, I'm surprised you are so confident Ashley will pull the plug on Bruce. From everything we know about the owner he'll never sack a manager who toes the line and follows the script. As long as we are more than 3 points ahead of the relegation spots Ashley will keep praying his slave will somehow pull off a result to ease the pressure. Mate, this is 100% me trying to kid myself that it's going to happen. I know full well he's here for the long-run but I reckon I can convince myself there is still hope just by typing it Never hated a person so much, including Pardew/Souness/Carver
  7. The buyer and seller wanting the deal has NEVER been the issue. That's why the "all parties are still confident" line is utter bullshit. Certain posters don't seem to grasp that point and that's the part which pisses other posters off with the over the top positivity. So basically, the buyers want the club, but only if it's in the premier league. No closer to the PL approving it. Club quickly heading toward relegation. Not happening is it.

You can see with him, and a number of others, that they're going out there with a "what's the point" type attitude. Head's have gone. Football, whilst being a business, is supposed to be fun, for players and fans. It's anything but fun at Newcastle.

  10. Nah, the very reason he left was because he couldn't get the assurances he needed. If he came back I'd trust that he got whatever he felt was necessary in order to improve the club. That of course also means that he won't be back unless it is related to a takeover. I've mentioned this on another thread, but a "mad thought" perhaps, but can we possibly get Rafa in a specifically 'temporary' role again (Deja Vu . . . ) Then any problems for the new owners having to keep our temporary manager (who they may not have wanted) on indefinitely . . . well, don't apply do they. I mean, he is now available, and while Rafa would definitely NOT come back in any kind of permanent role under the current ownership (after the way he was treated by Ashley and all the broken promises) but he could be tempted by another temporary rescue job, particularly if his friends in the Consortium have indicated their imminent success to him !! Seems LOGICAL doesn't it. So if it doesn't happen, and he goes to Celtic, what's next for your "IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO HAPPEN" takeover?
  11. Jones is coming in to make him quit then
  12. Hes a great manager and its just not going his way etc. It was this bad under Rafa.
  13. “When you’re a team in the bottom half” No acknowledgement that he’s the reason for that though
  14. So he was offside then.?? It was ruled offside, chill
  15. And one goal in seven. 2 in 7
