Barnes and Gordon were going to rotate. That includes in games, not just week to week. It would also allow Gordon, Wilson and Isak to rotate. It would also allow Gordon, Almiron and Murphy to rotate. There's a reason none of this "squad rotation" people use as a stick to beat Howe with hasn't happened. We all know that.

I’m not jealous of him at all. I’m jealous of the likes of Bruno and Isak. I just think Longstaff makes us shitter than we really are. I hope he gets a massive contract at Bayern or something and has an amazing life, it’s not personal.

I enjoy watching my 7 year old son play grassroots on a Saturday more than I enjoy watching the premier league.
