You can keep him. No thanks. Already made the decision not to have kids.

haha what an idiot He's already a quitter, calling Keegan an idiot as well is a bit unnecessary. Really don't know how any 'newcastle fan' can have anything against keegan I don't have anything against Keegan. Just don't want him as our manager that's all. He offer's nothing other than sentimental value. Guess that makes me an "idiot" for having that opinion. Can I call you a childish tw*t? Don't care what you call me because you talk s*** Bless. Now play with your Keegan mask I'l play with something else belonging to your mother You're quite possibly the worst ever poster on this board, and that's an absolutely massive statement. Well done

Nice of HTT to use a second account anyway.....

I've said it before - let Owen manage us.

Terry Venables turned down chance to manage Newcastle in 2008

I'm not saying the fans are fully to blame but some need to look at themselves. Remember that vitriol that Allardyce faced after only a few months (Liverpool at home)? Managers, especially in this country, will have noted something like that. I'm not saying the fans are perfect and have acted with complete dignity throughout this. But put it this way, nobody was against Ashley until Keegan felt he had to walk out. Well, apart from NE5. Most were at least content with the way we were moving forward, on and off the pitch. The fans are NOT responsible for the mess we now find ourselves in as a club. ERm...short memory i think. Just because the click wasn't again it, and that any doubt was disregarded with absolute sheer twatness, doesn't mean it wasn't there. The click? Alright I'll rephrase (even though that was rather tongue-in-cheek in the first place); most people were willing to give Ashley a chance. Most people on Newcastle-Online.... -
you're not enjoying the state the club is in are you ? I haven't been happy about the state it is in since 2005, before that, like you now, I kidded myself it would be okay. I tried to explain what was happening. I did try. That it has accelerated out of control is very sad. I know you hate graphs and numbers but the following two show why I was so worried. I too could have sat and put my hands of my ears and sing "lalalalala" loudly, and remember the Feyenoord game. The financial mess of the club is purely down to the directors of the club. Similarly the mess of the last fortnight is down to the current directors. The current directors had to spend too much time trying to recover the club from the financial mess they inherited. This is no excuse for the last fortnight, but it won't have helped them much. http://www.football-finances.org.uk/newcastle/2007/profit13.gif http://www.football-finances.org.uk/newcastle/2007/payrol12.gif How does the increase in payroll costs compare to the rest of the Premiership? How does it compare to rising costs of living?

Does it rely on Ashley selling up, or someone else willing to buy? Depends what slant you want to put on it..... -
Terry Venables turned down chance to manage Newcastle in 2008

It's a downward spiral tbh. The board pissed Keegan off, so he left. In turn, that pissed the fans off, so the owner looks to sell up. Potential managers are put off because new owners might come in, and the fans might not back them. Many many many different people are to blame here. The board, the old manager, the fans, the players.... None of them are blameless. Who claimed the players were good enough to carry us through by the way? -

I'm pretty sure if the club wasn't up for sale and we were prepared to offer a manager a proper job we'd be able to find one. You can't have your cake and eat it. Exactly. -
You mean some posters on Newcastle-Online? No - a hefty proportion of Newcastle fans capable of independent constructive thought thats who. Note the percentage balance changes DAILY to people finally waking up from their doziness. A "hefty proportion" still being a massive minority all the same! How do you actually know that? Obviously you ignore the opinion of people on the internet, and I doubt you've surveyed 50,000 around Newcastle? I don't ignore the opinion of people on the internet but I don't count a few votes on a message board as "a lot of fans". As for the opinion of 50,000 fans, I can only go off 50,000 fans singing KK's name against Hull, the reaction from people around me everyday and of course, the reaction on most Toon message boards and Toon sites. You're basing your opinion on the songs the fans sing at games? Jesus christ... Better than a few votes on an internet message board... Would you like a bigger spade? To try to dig you out of the s*** you're peddling? Still, your hatred for Ashley has nothing to do with Keegan..... Gol, the best way to solve this is to pop out on Northumberland street and ask any fan the walks by whop the blame for the mess we are in, I bet you anything you like less than 10% will say Keegan. You've got me wrong. I'm not saying that Keegan is to blame for this mess. I'm saying that people feel he's let us down for leaving us in it!

Nah, its because he's scared of a banner. How's the purchase of the club going? What you asking me for?! Oh, sorry, thought you were involved? Have you given up on the idea? Who would you like as manager then, realistically? You thought wrong then. Who would I like as manager? As an interim role? Venables would actually be a good choice even if I think he's massively overrated and a cockney spiv... Long-term... I wouldn't like to even guess. TV isn't going to happen though, that banner has put him off So you don't think managers are thinking twice because of the reaction of the fans?

When will these mad fools learn to wish for good things? If only we invested in players in the way Leeds did, that would guarantee us safety. Do you want to point out to him that we just broke our transfer record for a defender? no big deal. Keegan did it twice the last time, and Bobby Robson did it too. Didn't stop the club from buying other players though, and they didn't make the manager sell to buy to do it. Big difference. This has been said before too. You're not seriously going to defend this summers transfer activity [lack of] I hope. Nope, I'm not. But I blame Keegan as much as I blame the club. I've been frustrated by our transfer activity for the last few years to be honest. I don't think either board was/is very good.

And changing steadily daily the other way Not notice ? He's too busy finding a way to prove that over 300,000 people have invested over £1000 in Newcastle for no return

You mean some posters on Newcastle-Online? Ahh, only the true fans stay away from the internet. Well where are they then? This "a lot of fans" I've just asked you the same question tbh

Using the same logic, what does make a good manager?

haha what an idiot He's already a quitter, calling Keegan an idiot as well is a bit unnecessary. Really don't know how any 'newcastle fan' can have anything against keegan I think it's because a lot of fans feel that Keegan has left us in the shit, and if he loved the club like people claim, he'd have worked through it. Because none of us really know all of the facts, people are going to think that. Doesn't make them less of a fan of Newcastle United though, just less of a Kevin Keegan fan.

Bramble was better tbh, it's just his mistakes usually seemed more important.

Perfect replacement for Keegan then. Out with one.... Who else would want the fucking job?
