Jesus wept. People do realise WE CANNOT ATTRACT THOSE PLAYERS don't they?
-
The day Keegan was appointed manager, people were screaming for a strengthening of the squad. This thread has "happened" because of the Woodgate story, not the Arsenal result. By the way, in case anyone is getting me wrong... I'm not saying we WILL go down, I'm saying that we COULD.
-
Well it's all sorted then. According to this thread both Martins and Geremi will be transformed from useless tossers to top class footballers, and we'll finish top half. So why are we even talking about trying to sign players, when we only need those 2 back? Love the optimism guys, wish I could share it

Better? Still makes no sense tbh. We're 7 points clear of the bottom 3. Are there only 3 games left or something?
-
If Reading have made Lita available, we'll be after him.

What a shit change of thread title. Relegation doesn't mean finishing bottom btw. http://www.footballanorak.com/FA-Barclaycard-Premiership-Form-Guide-0.html

That would be Spurs, who were bottom of the table until that appointed a top European manager? The difference being they're on the up, and we're on the down. We've just appointed a new manager, who is to say that we will not be on the up soon? Yep, we might. No guarantee that we will though. Relegation IS still a possibility, but people seem to be blind to that fact purely because we appointed Keegan. By the way, it is actually possible to be 100% behind the team whilst at the same time thinking we have a chance of relegation.

So we've not signed anyone because their agent hasn't called us yet. Small-club-tastic.

Martins breaks ranks to attack Allardyce reign

He's exactly the kind of player that will shine under KK tbh. Why do people keep saying that? How come Martins has never shone under any other manager? -
Keegan wants three players in the window, ready made prem stars

What are Srnicek and Bernard doing? -

Spot on. Geremi was shite before. Has a new manager changed that? In fact, so were Emre and Barton, and Martins too. Faye and Beye drastically improve our defence. However, it's going forward that we struggle with.
-
Hardly. People have been saying it for months.

to the end of the window, saving our money for summer?
-
We'll get no more points from Wigan this season. We're down then. Wigan who beat us. Fulham who we beat in the last minute with a penalty. Birmingham who we beat in the last minute. Reading who beat us. Sunderland who we drew with. Boro who we drew with. Yep, we're LOADS better than all of those. We need investment in the midfield. It doesn't matter how many players come back from Africa, because none of them are creative midfielders. I think we'll finish just above relegation tbh, then find it even harder to attract players in summer.

Same as Old Trafford. Did you watch the two games at all? What were the positives from the first half at Old Trafford? Apart from the peverse joy to be gained at watching Rooney miss sitters. Yep, I was there. Were you? No. But if you can't take any more positives out of this than Old Trafford I worry. Just wonder when the Keegan blinkers are going to come off. FFS he has been here little over a week. He is playing with the s**** that was already here. Get real you muppet. Read my following post. Thanks for the insult though, which means nothing seeing as girls actually know ZERO about football

I'm not saying I won't give him a chance. I'm saying that the people who think we're suddenly going to become the Newcastle from the 90's again because Keegan is manager need a reality check. We were 0-0 at Old Trafford, defenders throwing themselves at everything. Owen scores a good goal which is disallowed. Man United score early, but the last couple of goals flattered them completely. We were 0-0 here today, certainly looking much better going forward, but as soon as we conceeded we had absolutely nothing in terms of creation. Keegan won't be the messiah you're all claiming unless £100m minimum is spent on this team.

Don't worry world class Owen will save us all! Why is it always about Owen for you btw? Seem a little obsessed. Owen needs service, and none of our midfielders are capable of getting the ball to him. Why do you defend the waster? Owen needs a new heart, some new legs and to be bankrupt, that and only that would turn him into a footballer again. I'm not particularly defending him (I'm not a huge fan of his either), but if you think Owen is to blame for us being so poor up front, you're wrong. There is nobody at the club capable of making us look good going forward. We need huge investment in that area. People are too obsessed with the defence.
