Not like you to go against the grain is it? I think it's more other people going against my grain Just never really rated Messi. OK, he's scored a couple of fantastic goals, but I can't believe people talk about him being the new Maradona. Not even close. Ronaldo is better IMO.

Without reading the last couple of pages, can I assume that people have sore dicks from wanking about Messi? Created nothing tonight, despite his dribbles. Don't know what the fuss is about.

You put that info on the facebook page too? Think a few of my mates will be joining that group. Now we just need someone to organise match tickets every week
-
under premier league rules, the opposition is allowed access to any part of the pitch at any time after a match, so the groundsman wasn't doing his job Funny how the story reports otherwise.

That'll be us wasting 6 million on Smith I'll trump you 9m pounds worth of Jean Alain Boumsong. £8m

Its just a shame that theres still the same old twaddle put in an article. How does he know Smith supports Rangers? I thought Leeds was Smiths boyhood team? I remember watching a programme following youngsters, and they covered Smith making his debut. Every paper has reported this today like fair enough. I haven't read any today, although I glanced at the front page of the Mail when I was in the barbers. Just seems odd. Alan Smith is a Rangers fan, as well as a Leeds fan. Has been since he was a lad.

Based on what exactly? Based on the fact that he's black and the groundsman is white, and all white men are racist. Seems Gary Neville is to blame. Fucking tool.

I'd be gutted if we signed Drogba and Cahill. [/sarcasm]

Jose to Citeh?
-
He's at Feyenoord and scoring freely. However, don't most players score freely in that league?
-
We've actually been linked with Sahin this month (although so have Arsenal and Chelsea).

http://www.spurspies.tv/2008/04/why_are_spurs_making_such_hard.html A sweeping generalisation that's asking to be shot down - Andy Cole, Craig Bellamy, Rob Lee, Shay Given etc But it's not an easy place to play, given that in the last 20 years, expectations have exceeded achievements. Woodgate........... and its been downhill ever since for him Add Jenas,Ferdinand,Ruel Fox,Kevin Scott and David Ginola. & Berbatov Not sure he ever played for us.

I'm not saying he could do what Modric does. I am asking whether anyone thinks he could be part of a three man midfield. In fact I don't think anyone in this thread has suggested Milner could do the job Modric does. Hard to bear. Your very last line of your post says you don't think we need a player like Modric in that system, so James Milner should step in. That reads to me like you're saying we don't need Modric because we've got Milner. Sorry like, but that's how it reads. No, the last line is clearly a question. But by all means keep trying. Answer your own question then. Do you think Milner should be in that role?
-
Because it's only true of 50% of his games this season. He's not been bad, but some others have been better.

And also he plays for us, and he's one of our better players at the moment. Still, don't let that cloud your hatred.
-
Depends how you look at it. Chelsea have lost less games than them.
-
So we miss out on Modric, and within 12 hours people have suggested that both Emre and Milner could do that job anyway?

You tend to find the English media report about English players, especially those who play for England. I think Lampard is a little more high profile than N'Zogbia. I agree about Lampard and the English Media but surely the death of N'Zogbia's dad is of a higher profile than the death of Lampards mam on a Newcastle fan site though isnt it? Ahh sorry, I was responding to your media reaction point rather than the bit about the message board. There are 4 pages on here because people keep complaining about the amount of posts

So you want us to sign 4 new defenders? That's crazy. why is it, Carr will leave and that leaves us only 1 real RB in Beye, as it stands now we only have 1 LB in Enrique and we need at least 1 more big solid 1st choice CB. Four would be ideal but at least 2 in a LB and a CB is a must. Mainly because we need to sign midfielders and attackers. We're not going to sign 11 new players this summer. We'd be better looking at centre backs who can play at full back if needed.

Anymore news on the Kuyt deal? Nope.

Spot on, and I would think that Keegan thinks exactly the same thing too. I can't see us paying over the odds for Dunne. If he's available for the right price on the right terms then go for it, but otherwise, leave well alone.
