  1. Standard post-match pint at Black Bull, like. Go to The Benton Ale House, man. The Black Bull is a shit hole.
  2. Try now. Cheers. Not even sure how to fix it. Will I have to remove the poll each week if I reset it as there was no option in there to reopen the voting. It was the duration that needed to be edited.
  3. Ah...so that explains the remy altidore song, and also shows we nicked the williamson song from the Kompany one 99% of football chants are taken from another team and re-worded.
  4. Chris, your only route now is CAS. Court of Arbitration for Sport http://www.tas-cas.org/
  5. Appeal dismissed, too late to make such a representation to NOFA.
  6. You never did serve that 1 match ban... What's all this? What did I do sorry? Nearly caused a riot.
  7. Really hope you can make it, bud, and not just cos of the keeper situation. Haven't seen you in over three years I don't think. If you can make it, though, Knoxy to the Reds I say. It is highly doubtful, my immune system is currently very week but I hope to be able to go to work on Friday. I'll see how I am feeling on Friday. I'll certainly get involved if another one is held in spring or late summer.
  8. If this penicillin works I could make a miraculous recovery. Doubtful mind, and I'm a Blue.
  9. Wat Mother of the baby born at Sports Direct has been arrested on suspicion of wilful neglect .
  10. How are they proposing to enforce this? A good few years since I've done away trips on the buses, much prefer the train. However, it's been against the law to drink on a coach to an away game for years under the The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc) Act 1985 but everyone did it anyway and just hoyed all the empties off not long before arriving at the destination.
  11. That isn't true though. We conceded because a couple of our midfielders were strolling back after a FK was cleared, and that Santon made a horrendous decision. There's this mistaken impression that we were being gung-ho getting our 2nd goal that lead to us conceding when the truth was the players didn't even bothered getting back from miles-offside positions. And two of our back four plus Tiote were our last line of defence when Santon was in the middle doing his though ball. It was more an overall poor play than an indication of any attacking intent. It tells you even more when you watch the actual clip. The players don't need to bust a gut to get back onside in that situation, if Santon doesn't play a stupid ball and give it away and instead lays it to Debuchy, who has space to run into, then the Southampton back four will retreat and Sissoko and Gouffran could be in very good attacking positions. It's all about phases of play, sadly in this situation Santon got his ball so awfully wrong and it cost us.

I very much doubt Gosling's NUFC contract expires on 1 January 2014.
  13. Thankfully I only need a hotel for a few days in Rio due to staying with friends when in Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre, also popping over to Ubatuba for a bit as I've got a friend there.
  14. I have no idea what the usual price is, flights cost me just over £1k. Still need to sort two internal flights and somewhere to stop in Rio for a few nights.

  16. Good idea. Got any tickets for the matches? Only just decided to do in the last week or so, so no, not yet but I'll be trying to get tickets for the following: Nigeria v Argentina, Estadio Beira-Rio, Porto Alegre, 17:00 South Korea v Algeria, Estadio Beira-Rio, Porto Alegre, 20:00 Winner Group G v Runner-up Group H, Estadio Beira-Rio, Porto Alegre, 21:00 The plan is to fly into Sao Paulo on 18 June, so if I could somehow get a ticket for the England game that would be amazing. Then fly to Porto Alegre on 20 June to stay with a friend and his family for two weeks, including spending some time up at his small holding about 90 miles away. Then head up to Rio for the last week and then fly home the day after the final.
