  1. This is a guess but the answer to 7 could be Phil Neville.
  2. Will be the first time in 5 seasons I've not done Everton away, this being due to doing the GNR.

    Aaron Spear

Under 16's and he went off injured, you'll not hear about it though as reporting on Under 16 games and below is banned iirc.
  4. I remember Freddie Shepherd personally seeing him off with a hug and thanking him publicly for leaving without asking for a penny. That's why I assumed he got sacked. Well I guess it doesn't really matter, I just remember him talking about it in the press conference and I can remember Shepherd saying if he hadn't quit he was about to sack him anyway. Either way at least he walked away without asking for a penny.
  5. Sorry I miss read the post but the title of the thread is 'South Americans in the Prem....' It may be an idea but it's a vast and unnecessary expense to be honest when it's not that much of an inconvenience for them to jump in first class on any of the numerous flights to London for a connection to Manchester/Liverpool/Newcastle. Given the amount of time it would save compared to the vast cost of a private plane then I just can't see it being worth it unless money is no object as in the case of Man City.
  6. South America is massive, and they are not all playing in the same place. An example of the players you have named (btw Mexico isn't really South America) Vela and Dos Santos will be playing on Wednesday in Tuxtla GutiƩrrez while Jonas, Colo, Mascherano and Tevez will be playing in Lima. Lima to Tuxtla GutiƩrrez is almost 3000 miles. That is further than London to Baghdad.
  7. Gullitt resigned, even though he would have probably been sacked.
  8. Godsmark and Danquah shouldn't be on the list.
  9. He sounds like the type of bloke that could do well here and seems to have the personality to succeed and it also sounds like he wouldn't take any shit of anyone.
  10. Faith (good name ) seems too me be a quite similar person to Keegan, good motivator and coach. But how will he handle the other part of the club? that is the big question. would love him though Well he is now telling me he initially left Galatasaray because he wasn't happy with the structure and he wanted sole control and part of his job to be what the DoF did.
  11. My Turkish colleague says he would be a brilliant head coach and is a great motivator.

    The Academy

It's always going to be the case that young kids brought in from other clubs, especially abroad, are going to be on bigger contracts than 1st and 2nd year home grown academy players.

He has been poor at times but he is clearly talented and has potential, it's been a very big move for him and it is no surprise he is homesick and unsettled.

    Club shops today

I walked passed the one in Monument Mall yesterday, totally dead, mind I hadn't been in there for a while the whole place was dead with half the units empty.
  17. No. He's been banned for 6 first team competitive domestic games, in this case 5 league games and 1 League Cup game. During that time he can't feature for the reserves either.

Just spanked Bolton 5-1, Danquah hat-trick.
  19. He missed an open net from 2 yards.
  20. He played for the Under 16's on Saturday, went off with an injury.
  21. The club have called in riot police.

    Nile Ranger

Very odd, named a team with only two defenders!
