We were far from shit - at the break neither side really tested the keeper. 2nd half we looked pretty comfortable until Shelley got send off. If I had one complaint I thought Rafa needed to bring on Merino earlier but other than that we did ok against a good side. I concur. I think the fact we'd already used 2 subs due to injuries meant Rafa was wary of using his 3rd sub too early. I haven't seen a replay of Shelveys red card so can't comment on it, but Delle Ali is a niggly snide cunt. Did Ritchie get a yellow for howking him on the touchline? Yes and Shelvey was completely indefensible. Deliberate stamp for no reason.

Looked fed up. His answers implied he doesn't want to see or talk to Mike Ashley.

I don't feel too bad after that. We looked solid against one of the best teams in the league until Shelvey pulled his bald cunt act. We knew we'd be limited going forward since we've not invested properly in attacking players. Both Spurs goals came from them having the extra man and having the extra bit of space that they wouldn't have otherwise had. Atsu looked really good. Merino looked good when he came on. Just as usual we shot ourselves in the foot and Ashley is planning to shoot us in the head.

My hatred of him kinda supersedes Colback himself. It's replacing one of my favourite players of the recent era, a very talented player who brought a new dimension to our play and was integral to the meagre glimpses of success that we had even in spite of Pardew with a clogger from our shit local rivals who battled relegation every single year who is turbo shit but gets slack from some people because he's a local lad. We should never be downgrading to that level. Not to mention he was a bell end whilst he was at Sunderland and brought the club down a peg by his mere soulless presence.
