Imagine if they got to the final, lost, got into the europa league and then got relegated. No wait sorry the europa league was too unrealistic.
  2. IMO the fabled 'new manager bounce' can often be the difference between being relegated and not for a number of teams. IE Mussolini last season when O-Nil was sure to take the Mackems down.
  3. Personally think clubs should only be allowed to change manager in the summer. If you appoint a bad one then tough shit.
  4. Buzzing for this one to happen. Would rather he stayed and took them down to end the myth once and for all.
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25380989 'You can never score enough goals' Pellegrini is dreamy. Shame he's at such a cuntish club.
  6. It's the sudden change of direction that that makes it brilliant

You know it's bad when you're actually disappointed to see Ameobi coming off for Cisse.
  8. That ref needs to learn the difference between a foul and a player falling over.
  9. If you saw Remy's misses there's no way you'd be saying this. Really? I've not said anything particularly contentious there have I? Opportunity missed but not a terrible result...? Like I say, I checked the score at HT and knew I'd be getting frustrated texts from my Dad for the duration of the next 45 mins. Part of me would prefer us to go in at the break level. It is a terrible result to have given up the lead to a team who only tried to spoil the game and who's goal came from our own mistake. Especially after Remy missed two of the easiest chances we'll get all season. Their goalkeeper basically said 'here have a goal' and he still put it miles wide.
  10. He rarely seems to do well against his old clubs so probably.

He's always been a lazy/casual player and that's why he's always struggled with offsides. He's old enough now, it's not going to change.
  12. Never understood why people were happy to see them doing well tbh. They're a team of spoilers.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

It's been the case with HBA on here forever. People seem to only love him or hate him, don't seem to treat him as any other player, who needs a good manager who cn work with him and improve the sides of his game that need work, while encouraging him to do what he does best. Instead they expect this Franco Baresi-type defensive skills and Maradona-esque attacking force. Seems like nobody wants a player who is in between. I love Ben Arfa but the fact is he needs to be more of a team player and pass the ball more often instead of trying to do every thing himself.

I don't even think it's a confidence thing. I think he just wanted out in the summer and he's still sulking about it.
  15. Some carry on after their keeper lashed out at Sissoko and Sissoko ended up accidentally smacking the ref.

His decision making drives me mad. He always has to be the hero and never seems to make a pass to someone who's in acres of space. Can't remember the last time I fancied him in a shooting position either.

I agree. Will always remember his great run when he first joined but he's never getting back to that for one reason or another. We need someone who's actually of use to us.
  18. F*ck off.... most of their best players didn't play and they have lost 3 out of last 4 games before today. Plus we are better than they are so we should be winning at home, amazing what has happened to fans of this football club absolutely zero ambition anymore. Happy with drawing at home to f*cking Southampton ffs.... you are going to have a party at the end of the season when we finish 8th aint ya? f*cking joke. Yes i'm angry right now, who cares fuck off. Angry or not the sentiment is correct. That Southampton team out there were gash.
  19. I like him but he's not improving at all.
  20. Ref deserved it. Gave Southampton free kicks every time they fell to the floor. Probably needed to be shown what an actual foul looks like close up.
  21. He's f***ing special on two-on-ones, eh? I know Santon gave it away, but he was well if our half, ffs. Their pace ripped the team apart far too easily. What would MYM's pace have changed there? Colo can't follow Rodriguez' run when Davis would've been through on goal. He got in behind more than once. It was their only threat going forward.
  22. It's the mind-set he puts us in when we have a slight lead. Time and time again. The cunts not learning to just finish teams off. The only thing he did wrong today IMO was being too slow to react to the changes Southampton made which is one of his long running faults. However we should have won 3-1 today but Remy has had absolute mare.
