Imagine Gardner, Cattermole and McManaman in the same team. Might have to make the next derby a hardcore match.

I'd rather an Arsenal player get a red for breaking both of his legs. I'd rather the Arsenal player got away with it and then Wenger told us how his player 'isn't that sort of player'.

Free kick. Come on Wigan.
-
If Wigan are gonna lose I hope they get hit for 7 or 8.

I can understand the Wigan lass preferring the 6 points. Once they're gone they're never coming back in my opinion. But they'll always have won the FA Cup. The lass even described it as a 'once in a lifetime' event but would still prefer the points ffs. I get that but look at how desperate we are for a trophy even though the history books show we've won many pre-dinosaur times. Maybe it's hard to compare since we're not a tiny club like Wigan.

To think last week we were all about to slit our wrists over a Wigan win and now we're cheering them on

What happened? Congratulated Wigan on their FA Cup win on their big screen.
-
That is actually a disturbing number of Man Yoo cast offs/loanees.
-
FA Cup as I've already seen us be relegated but never seen us win a (real) trophy.

Small time that by Arsenal

I think the joint Villa-Sunderland badge deserves another airing if Wigan win today. There was a joint badge? Aye, it was a total cringe crest. Didn't they then have a big fallout soon after? Was it when Bent went to Villa? I can remember the 2 respective fanzine lads arguing like school kids on tele about it. Aye it was over Bent (and then MON I guess).

My biggest worry about him starting next season is not that he won't get sacked. It will be that there won't be any decent options to replace him mid-season and we'll be throwing away another season which will have a knock on effect regarding player departures. Football is more dog-eat-dog than ever before and if you stand still or go backwards you're rife to being cherry picked by the bigger clubs.

You definitely need to post more Andy.

Just asked him whether it's worth going three or four transfer windows without strengthening gaping holes in the team to save a bit of money when we do eventually buy a player for that position or whether he thinks it's worth while to spend a little more and make sure we have a competitive squad for all competitions we enter. If it gets asked I doubt he'll give a real answer.

I put his name in the box below any way.

I'd like Sunderland to go down, mostly for the big stain it puts on MON's record, and because i don't like that fascist nutjob manager. However, for that to happen would mean Wigan winning tonight, which would then pitch me into several days of absolute total agony as I shit myself that we're going to do down at the weekend. There's no chance of you going down. Sunderland are worse than us at getting results away against the big teams.
-
Any one who didn't play much this season I didn't give a rating to.
-
Until Wigan are leading 1-0 with 5 minutes to go tonight, then all the anxiety of the last few weeks may come rushing back. nope then the laughter at Sunderland begins The last day of the season would be a pleasure overload if Wigan win today.

Not really but the fans turning on each other shows the consequences of keeping him on.
