What does this even mean? He's good as a late game big dude that takes advantage of tired legs, and pretty useful defending corners and whatnot. It just sucks that he's also the forward option when we're chasing a game. But he isnt. This season I can hardly think of a useful contribution (QPR goal...then i'm struggling). He really doesnt do a job. Mighty chest down for Ba against Everton. I agree with you though. Fucking hell, without him we'd be 4 points down and probably relegated Without Ba we'd probably be below QPR

Where , I don't see anything positive at all here, he's just fearful that they could sack. He would be stupider than stupid if he wasn't. Don't know why anyone is getting excited over this at all, when llambias of Ashley come out and say they are considering his position then I'll be more accepting that it might just happen. But really par dew saying he is worried about his job is not news worthy at all, He's saying there's a possibility he'll be sacked even if we survive. That's like seeing the light at the end of a dark tunnel.

So basically Rooney with luxurious Hollywood hair is Mata. Fine line with Mata then. He better hope he never goes bald.

    Fernandes seems really needy.
  6. It doesn't matter who the opposition is, all teams should be concerned with being caught on the counter attack. We shouldn't be worried about any thing to do with QPR. They've won 2 home games all season and are chock-a-block with mercenaries who don't give a shit, cloggers and a manager who seems focused on next season. It's how low we've sunk that is making us terrified of them. Who is terrified? I'd argue that it'd be extremely foolish for us to go into the game with a reckless attitude like that. Regardless of how bad they are, they still have individuals who can hurt any team. Winning games requires a balance of attack and defence. We can't expect to just turn up and have them roll over, can we? Not the way we've been playing this season, no. However that is the point. Ordinarily there is nothing to fear from QPR. Even Stoke who are almost as negative as us got a win there recently. Yet no-one here is that confident we can beat the worst team in the league. I'm sure the sentiment is sound here, but 'nothing to fear' doesn't sit well with me. We should be able to nullify their threats, as most teams have done this season, but we shouldn't be dismissing them out of hand. It wouldn't be wise to be over confident going into a game of this magnitude, so hopefully it'll serve us well. I'm not saying we should be over confident. I'm just saying they're all kinds of shit. However so are we now.

I'd say it was good news but we only have two strikers now. Meh.

  11. Ok dour Northern Irish dinosaur like O'Nil then.
  12. This. Have to say I'd be tempted to play Simpson. Can't afford to get caught on the counter attack and while Simpson won't offer much going forward he'll probably close of that flank better than Debuchy. This is what Pardew has done to us. To be fair this is what tomorrow's game has done to us. Don't give a shit how we play tomorrow, just want to win and then move on from this season. And what about the game on Sunday?
  13. Worried about being caught out on the counter attack by QPR. We've sunk so low.
  14. I'm guessing both. He definitely gives off that dour Scottish dinosaur vibe like big Eck to me.

    I miss Bimpy's Pardew loathing.
  16. If Remy breaks down in the first 10 minutes of the game I'll believe devine intervention is happening.
  17. Would be the best ever Mackem boom-bust cycle if they went down this year though.

True, but I wouldn't wish any points to Wigan at this point. Much simpler that way. They don't play a PL game until Tuesday so in this scenario we'd know whether we want them to pick up points before they play.
  19. If we beat QPR, Villa lose to Chelsea, Sunderland lose to Southampton and Norwich draw against West Brom would you root for Wigan against Arsenal? Or would you prefer Wigan went down instead of the Mackems?
  20. Don't see Everton appointing Laudrup personally.
  21. The word 'quality' has lost all meaning in recent years too.
