I don't know how any referee could see either of those tackles in real time and have any doubt it's a red card to begin with. The only possible factor is the team the player is playing for that makes them bottle giving the red card.
-
Interesting that the panel assessment was Havertz and Udogie both should have seen red (Udogie for his two footer which got him his first yellow). Will we now see correct refereeing and red cards being given for these tackles now or will it be the same old bottle jobs?

Fair enough. Fairly hidden though as opposed to the main story that Arteta was every day since.
-
Not being reported by the mainstream media funnily enough. Couldn't give Arteta enough air time, but when facts come out its all quiet.
-
City fans have been saying the same for years. Funnily enough they're quite supportive of us for exactly this reason. They want the cartel dismantled.

Must be tough for Arsenal. That 25 year head start disappearing in 2 seasons.

CL campaign was always just a bonus. We got the group of death on our first time back in 20 years. I think the players will learn a lot from these matches. As people have said, the most important thing is to keep coming back every year. It took Man City 14 years to build a squad capable of winning the whole competition, and that was with the advantage of not being hamstrung by FFP in the early days.

The Arsenal statement seems to have turned opinion away from Arsenal and now everyone (even the Liverpool martyrs) appear to have turned against them.
-
Today again. Granted Spurs did eventually get players sent off, but should have happened much earlier.
-
Who's holding their breath that Arteta and Arsenal will get the suspension/fine they deserve tomorrow?
-
There's no debate about it. The only reason he wasn't sent off is because he plays for Arsenal.
-
Or the ref can just do his job and send the offending player off...
-
Was more fun when we went in front and they couldn't use that tactic any more and they had absolutely fuck all.
-
Media: "Arteta MUST be allowed to voice his opinion" Also the media: *Silence on Havertz not getting sent off and our players getting booked for voicing their opinions*
-
Should have been yellow carded then. That's how it works right? When we questioned why Havertz wasn't sent off we got three yellows.
-
No surprise. All London clubs are "diverse" until they lose. Then the racism comes out.
-
Arteta's crying has been delicious. Fine him the maximum and suspend him for 6 games.

Stuart Atwell summoned to Premier League HQ after failing to defeat Newcastle.
-
Don't you hate it when three opposition players get booked when your player commits a red card tackle but only receives a yellow? So hard done by.

VAR "Reason for disallowing not found"
