I'd like to see how we do against Stoke now that we have our team of giants compared to our team of midgets the last time we played them.

I actually do like Kevin Nolan despite my frustrations with him. The problem is though that he doesn't have the physicality or athleticism to play in the Premiership on a regular basis. He reads the game well, gets in great positions, some times chips in with goals but in overall play he's a passenger because he can't keep up with the pace of the game. He's obviously done some good for team spirit as well but at the end of the day we just can't afford to be carrying a player like him in our situation. We need players who are able to contribute for the whole game.

Blackpool didn't deserve to win, though, did they? They had something like 3 chances, we had 15. They scored 2 we scored 0. Therefore they deserved to win. That does not equal a deserved win, that equals a lucky win. What's unlucky about failing to convert 15 chances? What's so hard about understanding that even if a team win, it can be undeserved? We were by far the better team, and thus deserved to win. They were the worse team, and got lucky that we couldn't convert our chances whilst they managed to convert theirs as on another day they'd not have been that lucky. Because if you don't take your chances you don't deserve to win in my opinion.

This would be my line-up as well. But I'd rather play Routledge on the right wing. Don't think Routiledge is ready yet.

And beating Villa 6-0 wasn't a shock? I meant away from home. We're notorious for being unable to win away games in the big league. Today was a home game, Man Utd is well Man Utd, we got a decent point away to Wolves and were unlucky not to win, and the Everton game hasn't came around yet, oh and we beat Accrington away from home in the cup. We were lucky at Wolves. If the ref gave them the penalty it would likely have been 2-0 and all over. And if one of our chances wnet in, or their keeper din't make a goodsave, or Henry was red carded as he should have been it would have been a different game in our favour. . Not taking chances isn't being unlucky. It's being poor in front of goal.

Wish we'd be able to pull off one of those "Oh hey we're a newly promoted side and we're gonna pull off a shock result" performances. Unlikely since we're slower than a bunch of statues...and we have a horrible record at Goodison.

Danny Guthrie's biggest weakness for me has always been his lack of physicality and pace. Hopefully if you put Tiote next to him it becomes negligible.
