  1. We have a few worse than him. Just a few.
  2. It is a common antic in premiership to be honest. Not that I agree with what they do, but I don't think that they have blatatnly excessively moved the ball sidewards or forwards. I disagree. It was a straight up piece of cheating that directly resulted in a goal. In that sort of position, two or three yards to the right makes a difference between being able to have a go at goal and crossing. Agreed.
  3. Aye. I got sick of people running the club down ages ago. Pisses me off.
  4. David Jones manages Cardiff. He somehow managed to throw away consiradable lead in Championship though, and his team has slipped to 4th or 5th now. He is a good safe bet for any team wanting to advance into Premiership and he wouldn't be good enough for the high expectations of Newcastle United. So now it's the managers fault? I thought these things were down to the Chairman and Board? :winking:
  5. bluelaugh.gif OMG it's the stalker. At least you just contributed the biggest laugh in ages, this coming from you of all people. You usually offer NOTHING at all. bluelaugh.gif
  6. ...at a certain price we were able to pay, which obviously wasn't enough having correctly prioritised on other areas. As we should also do next month.
  7. No way should Souness have stayed. O'Neill has an average track record, he's not shite but he's over-rated due to his media image. I didn't want Roeder at the time, I didn't even want him as caretaker manager but he did surprise me at the quality of job he did in that role. I suggested Dave Jones at the time and I stand by that. He's done a good job everywhere he's been I think he'd do a good job for us. Paul Jewel is also a good manager. There are others in the lower leagues. Among the usual names the likes of Allardyce gets on my tits tbh. Can't stand the bloke and would hate it if he was appointed as manager despite what he's doing at Bolton. There's just something about him, I'm not sure he'll do it at a club with higher expectations.
  8. Aye, some real fickle people around here, mate. BTW Are you 'Scotty' or are you his dad? If you're Scotty, why don't you F*** off in January? If you're his dad, why didn't you buy a blob? Wow. Great reply. Fucker. Tut tut. Bit touchy there, like.
  9. You wouldn't be trying to deflect the focus away from the fact you've been shot down in flames, like? Yep, I was shot down in flames. The summer transfer window was an unmitigated success. I now realise my error. Me too, can't imagine how we ever thought it was a failure tbh blatant success! Player we didn't need for a third of our budget, loan signing form Man U, Aged attacking midfielder who was struggling and one quality striker, exactly what im sure we were aiming for at the start of the window unrealistic people expecting a shte board to outspend Chelsea again, but you would still call them shite even if they did ..... Aye I said we should outspend Chelsea you give that impression. Yep I said we should spend £35-40m last summer you have to accept that we had our budget, and spent it. Whether or not you think we should have bought defenders or attackers is your opinion, but where would we be if we had bought defenders instead of Martins, Sibierski and Duff ? And that is the crux of it. He believes the planning was bad because the club didn't buy the players he thought it should..... What a laugh. bluelaugh.gif

  11. Parker can't play the defensive role. Or the playmaker role. But never mind......perhaps Roeder hasn't thought of massaging his ego yet, despite doing it for Emre. Your usual negative bullshit. Your standards have gone into orbit if you think Parker is not good enough for us. He's a current England international, he was the main man for Charlton in the Premiership for several seasons, Mourinho spent millions getting him to Chelski, but all this means nothing because HTL has pronounced that he's just not good enough for us. The lads still a good player, I just think that the management aren't managing him correctly. He was good for Charlton for ONE season only. That's the bit of bullshit around here. BTW I expect it from you, but there's no need for the childish sarcasm.

  13. Bollocks, tbh. You must be new here.

  15. Wow, that means we could sell him to anybody..... :winking:
  16. It's not bullshit, and perhaps more people are now seeing what I saw last year. tongue.gif Better late than never.
  17. Jesus, when will people get it? Nowt personal mate, but he does these circles all the f***ing time. There is no "on his day" when he doesn't. He's just not good enough no matter how much people hope he will be, or think he could be or any of that stuff. It is what he actually does that matters and what he does is not good enough.
  18. The armband is F*** all and means F*** all. He's not the best player at the Club for the position he plays. Didn't someone recently post on here the stats/results of games where Parker was missing? IF they are accurate then it goes a long way to proving what I think - we are a better team without him. Yup, agreed. Shearer wore it for ages but the real captain on the field was Gary Speed. The significance of it is that the player is expected to start most matches if they're fit, that's the problem right now. Parker isn't good enough to be a first choice player. If I HAD to make a choice I'd give it to Solano.
  19. Who said they wanted us to play for a draw?
  20. It's a cup tie. I'd sooner we lose while trying to win than lose playing for a draw.
  21. Aye, 'twas a classic and the worst part of it is that he does this all the time. How his rent-boys can't see it is beyond me.
  22. bluelaugh.gif This forum is great. They say laughing keeps you young. Keep 'em coming......
  23. Course we f***ing should. I want to see us win the game, not sit back and watch them attack us. They had won the moment Drogba entered the field while we had no fresh legs. We had F*** all on the bench tbh mate. Their bench pissed all over what we had on the pitch never mind what we had on the bench. It was less to do with fresh legs than it was to do with quality. Might have give us a slight lift, but realistically we were never scoring tonight. Bollocks. We had Luque, didn't we?
