  1. The bit in bold shows your lack of understanding of what people have been saying about managing players, hardly surprising though. Ferguson is fantastic at man management and it's his methods I agree with, ie he put up with a difficult personality in Keane because he knew how important he was to his team.
  2. Aye, a good point. Imagine where we'd be if he'd been injured for a long period.
  3. Agree with the suggestion it be Nicky Butt. I think Solano has been outstanding since moving to RB though.
  4. Agreed. Don't start Bellamy threads if you don't want to talk about him, simple. I'm very happy not to see the issues raked up again and again, but as long as people continue to spout bollocks about his time here, his worth to the club and the manner of his departure, then forgive me for re-entering the argument. Spot on really. When people stop posting such bollocks, for whatever agenda they have/or refusing to admit they were wrong when they supported his sale [like Gemmil, and one or two other usual culprits], then we will have nothing to correct them about. Still seemingly oblivious to the fact that your poster boy, Mr. Shepherd, sanctioned and fully supported the sale of Bellamy. supported his manager, Gemma baby, which is what chairmen are supposed to do. The fact that YOU said he SHOULD support his manager in this matter, and I said he should sack him though ..... means of course you should be congratulating him for making a "good" decision Sounds to me like he's f****** up left, right and centre in your eyes though. So why the continued, seemingly blind support for the man? More to the point, why the lies from you?

    Owen for Kuyt?

He's an inferior player who isn't good enough, there's no point in having him no matter how many games he plays.

    Owen for Kuyt?

I wouldn't even swap Ameobi for him, tbh.
  7. Gejon making yet another worthless post. Must have seen at least 1000 since it joined the forum. Sorry homophobe 1001 and counting......
  8. Gejon making yet another worthless post. Must have seen at least 1000 since it joined the forum.
  9. Spot the absurd generalisation. I had exactly the same thought but couldn't be arsed to reply, tbh. A generalisation it might be, but I would say it covers you and NE5 tbf. Alex and boo boo probably cover you, sunshine. ^-^
  10. Wow, great minds really do think alike. mackems.gif mackems.gif
  11. We'll improve IF Owen forms a good partnership with Martins. We need another good quality striker to cover for either of those two being out injured. The only other decent option is using Dyer out of position as a striker, he's reasonably effective because of his movement which stands out due to our current lack of movement up front. Martin's needs working to work on that, tbh. I think with Owen out we'd have more creativity with Butt/Emre in the centre midfield and Dyer up front. However, Emre being out as well introduces the problem of having to use Dyer in CM to get any creativity there at all, hence we then lack any movement up top. Dyer is vital right now in the absence of both Owen and Emre.
  12. So who would you drop for him? N'Zogbia, Duff and even Rossi started in the following fixture ffs. Personally i would (have) drop(ped) Duff. A player whose performances in a black & white shirt have been as poor, arguably worse, than the Spaniard's. He seems to be let off due to efforts for his previous clubs though, a courtesy not extended to Luque. No. He probably shows a better attitude on a daily basis and comes across to the manager as though he gives a shit and wants to play for the club.
  13. See my last post. It's obvious that he isn't showing enough on a day to day basis to be deserving of a chance. Training doesn't matter and neither does a strong daily work ethic. Get with it, mate! That's true. I reckon quite a few members of this forum don't have much of a strong daily work ethic, (I don't want to be hurtful and mention names such as Alex, Wullie, Gejon and Gemmill) being as they're on this forum so often when they're supposed to be working.

  16. So who would you drop for him? You can't believe everything the manager says in the media, he's often going to say what it's expected he's going to say. I'm sure the reality isn't that he had or has to score a goal in any given game, it's a matter of him showing an improved attitude overall in his approach to being a part of the club. He hasn't and doesn't show any change in his shit attitude, which is why he doesn't deserve a place in the side.
  17. Robert looked the same way but he was class No he didn't. That's a load of bollocks, tbh. Yes he did and you are talking bollocks Where's the "na na ni na na" and the tongue?

  19. The Chairman will do his job, which is to back the manager.
  20. Thought it was obvious, tbh.
  21. Very true. Don't expect many to believe it though. Ok, well there's already at least two threads talking about Craig Bellamy and his relevance to NUFC, so his "very very relevant point" can't be anything to do with that despite the title, if it is, then the thread is nailed on to be locked anyway. I'd LOVE you to explain what a Travelodge in Newcastle City Centre has to do with NUFC or how it shows "how far NUFC have slumped", especially if you can do it without admitting mismanagement at board level in the process. Still, have a go though. I could do with a laugh. It would be more accurate to say you and the other mods are ignoring a thread that is being spoiled by certain individuals posting personal nonsense, they're getting with it probably because you agree with their football POV (whatever the hell that is, like). No doubt you'd be moaning and jumping on my case yet again if I was posting the personal tripe your mates are posting. If you don't get the point in CG's post and need someone to explain it to you then you need help to think "outside the box", but I certainly can't be arsed. Ask one of the boys spoiling the other thread to help you out. Didn't think you could. Didn't think you'd understand.
  22. Aye, and that's the point. It seems difficult for some to grasp though.

  24. Catching up. Once again loads of personal tripe posted by the usual suspects ignored by the mod's because it's posted toward an individual member. Spoils the thread. Wankers.
