The injuries papered over the cracks and rightly so - but even last season when we had a decent starting 11, the performances weren't great and haven't been for a good while. Had we gone top - the league really doesn't tell the whole story tbh. In what planet? Our front 3 is top 4 worthy when in form, same with our midfield. Our defence with Botman back is top 6 quality. Howe achieving top 6 with this squad is about right - him achieving 7th last year with the injury crisis he overperformed, same as when he got 4th.

He's a starting England centre back who turned 24 a few months ago. I think £50M is a fair price for him personally.
