Than fuck that's over. For 15 minutes anyway...

    Sir Bobby speaks....

Forever the gentleman and still truly passionate about the club.
  3. If that piece of shit comes to our club I will not set foot in SJP while he is here.
  4. And to think we felt badly done to back then
  5. I reckon Man Utd will do it like, although Milan will give them a hell of a game at the San Siro. No Maldini for them though. Really hope there's no bother, although I suspect it'll be quite a heated affair.
  6. It'll be fantastic to see him back but I'll be cacking myself everytime he gets the ball in case he's tackled or pulls something

Will you disown your friend if he describes people who treat him badly using the c word, because your human development dictated that the c word is forbidden? I'm more concerned with whether he's okay at the moment actually, Stevie, than with a pathetic internet argument. I'm disgusted I have to feel inhibited in 2007, because a THIRTY THREE year old woman finds certain words offensive. I hope the cunts ok too. 32 actually. And thanks.

A friend of mine went over for this game and I'm yet to find out whether he was involved at all. The fans were all warned before they went re: the high probability of trouble, but like ourselves - why the hell shouldn't we/they go and support our respective teams in a so-called civilised country? And when is something going to be done about the Italian police?!
  10. No, he really was shit and past it actually Nah mate, he wasn't. 19 goals that season. He said that he thought his performances had continued at a level he was happy with and rightly so. He wasn't particularly good in his last season, but like i say, he still reached 14 goals. He deserved the record. He missed far too many matches - three major career injuries is what he had. Like he said, he's had somebody else's there. I completely agree that he deserved the record and I'm happy that he's got it, and his back luck with injuries devastated what could have been an even greater career, however, we'll have to agree to differ about how good he was at the end.
  11. He was going to be one of mine, but that whole Ian Rush, John Barnes thing was just a debacle that's better forgotten.
  12. No, he really was shit and past it actually And I do agree with Sparks that he probably continued playing for selfish reasons - that and the fact he was probably begged to do so cos we had no-one to take his place. I don't doubt the fact that he loved playing football and he loved the club but I think even he really knew that he was past it.
  13. Dyer is a strange one (I'm sure in more ways than one) There was a time when I despised him, and I mean, REALLY despised him. I wouldn't have pissed on him if he'd been on fire in front of me(very ladylike, I know) but I honestly think his attitude has changed and it takes quite a lot to change my mind. He seems to now realise that he was an arsehole and appears quite ashamed of it. He does look like he makes the effort in games far more than he used to and whether this is because with injuries etc, he doesn't have the natural reckless ability that he used to have and has to work harder or whether it's because he really wants it more than he used to - I dunno.
  14. I really don't know. Wasn't a fan of Gillespie either.
  15. Can't bear the snivelling little cockney tosser.
  16. Bowyer. I was gutted when he signed for us as at that time we already had enough players with poor reputations and didn't need any more. I never warmed to him and never will. Darren Peacock. Can't really rationalise this one - maybe it was the hair. Ameobi. He frustrates the hell out of me. He lollops around like a Nigerian Ja Ja Binks and I frequently want to slap him back out of the little dream world he appears to be in when he's supposed to be onside.

    Rooney or Martins?

There you go - I've just evened it up. To suggest that Martins has anywhere near the same amount of talent as Rooney is quite ridiculous. Yes I would swap Martins for him - in a second.
  18. It looks like it's definitely only working in firefox. To anyone viewing with IE - Hello!!
  19. Aye. Have to do the back button thing but it works
  20. I had a problem with the online renewal a few days ago when it was telling me I had no ticket to renew! I used their 'submit a query' thing to e-mail them and they helpfully replied the next morning and it was sorted straight away
