Non of the players can whinge about lack of support this week. The away end did us proud at the end there.

It's been torture having 1 game a week so far this season. You would think they would like to get more games played while the weather is meant to be good.

One of the best things that has happened since the takeover is seeing the local kids, including my own, decked out in black and white again. It's good for the soul.

Shift the away fans lower down and create another singing section in the safe standing in Leazes L7. They are the worst seats in the ground so can't see many complaints. Could be one solution?

I was there yesterday. In the southwest corner and I thought the atmosphere was great first half. Plenty singing around me. All spreading from the strawberry corner. The second half was really tense and you could sense something bad was coming. Their fans were absolutely pathetic mind. Barely a peep till they scored and even then not that loud really. In my sporadic trips over recent years one thing I have said is how I've noticed a lot of the younger lads don't sing. Where we were yesterday there was four of us in our 40's gan radge and right next to us were three early to mid 20's lads who were silent throughout apart from to slag off miggy et all the time. I just don't get it me like.

It's strange how on the footage of them at the Adidas hq they showed every strip bar the 95/96 home which is the best one. Then that lad was talking about 3 iconic black stripes. As already mentioned earlier, I much prefer more, thinner stripes. I hope he doesn't get the final say.

I loved his effort at the back end of the season before last. He ran himself into the ground. He played an important part in some good results. He seemed well liked in those vids with longstaff etc. He's got a good sense of humour. Shame it's went the way it has like.
