By god there has been some god awful VAR decisions these last 2 weeks but that Juventus disallowed goal in the last minute of injury time trumps everything. Probably the most disgraceful decision I've seen from VAR. Firstly the 'offside' player never touched the ball and was no way blocking the vision of the goalkeeper. Infact he was getting his shirt pulled terribly by a Salernitana defender. Secondly he wasnt even offside in the first place as the VAR officials FORGOT there was a defender near the corner flag. No way you can give us a 1-0 win. Palace would have had to attack and could easily have got an equaliser as the whole momentum of the match can change. Seen it so many times before that teams sit back when they take the lead. You could have a better argument that West Ham should get that point as it was in the 90th minute but again would never happen in a million years. It'll be an apology with Mason being dropped for a fortnight and then it'll all go back to normal

Just read that Lee Mason is the VAR official for Man Utd v Arsenal today, fucking shameless Keith Hackett the former PGMOL boss is not happy on twitter about him either. Saying he should be stood down and questions need asking if he is fit for purpose ?

You have so many multi million pound transfer dealings and so much investment for clubs to try and break into the established elite that VAR is essential to make sure such huge decisions are correct. You then get some fat bald prick from Bolton called Lee Mason who was a garbage referee himself (seem to remember he was the ref who fucked up Brightons goal at West Brom by blowing whistle for a quick free kick then paniced and blew it again before the ball went in the net) who can literally determine the result of a match. As some have said its the fact nothing will be said to him and he'll be on VAR again next weekend doing another match as if nothing ever happened which is the most infuriating part. Honestly think such big fuck ups like that should mean he gets sacked but we'd have no VAR refs left by Christmas as they're all pony

Michael Oliver gave Bournemouth a penalty and was told by VAR to look at the screen which he did but stayed with his own decision and still gave the pen
