Are You kidding? Absolutely 100% nailed on penalty. I'd be raging if I were a Leeds fan as they were winning 1-0 at the time. Why didnt it go to VAR? Edit - Apologies, I see you said it was a stonewaller. Got my wires crossed -
Put this in the match thread but needs putting in here too. Fucking state of this man

Everything seems too positive in the ground at the moment -
Crowd at City match is pathetic. You can hear players talking to each other while they sit in complete silence. Long gone are the days when you 'support' English clubs in Europe. Big 6 are deplorable

Fuck sake -
Where has all this talk of Ambani being involved in the takeover come from? I have not seen one single report other than just twitter users who are just guessing in the hope that they'll look ITK if owt happens.

Was hoping for a good protest idea but bringing whistles and throwing paper planes on the pitch seems a bit underwhelming. Although I'll never criticise anyone for trying to make a difference. Regarding the match, I have a feeling it will either see us go 1-0 down early doors and it will get hostile or we'll sneak a 1-0 with a late winner -

Firstly I dont think Taylor being the referee will make any outcome to the result. I dont think he would be biased at all (although he was the ref who missed a blatant handball at Old Trafford when we were winning 2-0). You could hand pick any referee (even Oliver) and we'll still get our arses handed to us by at least 3 goals. What I would say is that there is the basis that his integrity can come under unfair scrutiny if he ever gives a dodgy decision. I recall former head of refs Keith Hackett saying the PGMOL shouldnt be letting him referee Manchester teams. A few teams have refused to have certain referees officiate in their matches in the past. Tottenham maybe? Didnt Southampton refuse a ref when they kept getting shafted by him -
Says it all about this little waster that I had to go to page 4 to find his thread but looks like he'll be out of action for a while as well

Just been announced that the referee is none other than Anthony Taylor from Manchester -
Funny how this shit gets 'leaked' as soon as the transfer window is shut. Looking more and more likely that it was just another Ashley trick. Whole thing is just sickening. Seeing Man City and Chelsea spend £100m on a single player yet we get blocked over £300m deal by IMO genuine company who are investing everywhere else without issues.

Jesus Souness absolutely HATES Pogba like

Just seen the James red Incredibly harsh. If thats a red then Lascelles at Villa should have been red? Would probably have done us a favour after today

Anyone got any idea what is happening? Half an hour into the match and not one post regarding anything that has happened -
Back to the takeover talk and there is a lot of gossip on twitter about a new company registered on Company House (PAUK) on 16th July 2021 just 3 days before arbitration was delayed. When you compare the initial documents of PAUK and NCUK, they are almost identical. Yassir Al Rumyyan and Vincent Cheshire named and everything appears the same except for the PIFs ‘legal form’ changing from ‘Public Investment Fund’ to ‘Corporate Sole’. Heres a link : I understand most will be highly sceptical but it seems it could well be takeover related. Dont know if theres any legal boffins in here who could explain better than me?

Oh right I didnt realise he got booked, still should have been red but makes it less annoying. Not too fussed about Lascelles penalty decision. Didnt think it was but can understand why it was given Just watched the Wilson 'offside' again on sky sports app. Did the VAR officials line him up against the WRONG defender? Surely not?
-
Even if he was offside the goalkeeper should still get a red card. Basically saying if you know the attacker is offside you can do what the fuck you like to him and you cant get booked (Pickford on Van Dijk springs to mind) Fucking bollocks VAR decisions again, feels like there is a vendetta against us from takeover but probably just being a sore loser.

Imagine 5 years ago you'd say that you wouldnt be surprised if Arsenal lost a league game against Brentford man Shows how bad Arsenal have gotten and how good Brentford have done recently

Id love to see Messi in the Premier League but not City, they've become far too powerful and I think it would genuinely spoil the season as they'd win nearly every game and have the league wrapped up by Christmas. Who else would suit him? Chelsea or Man Utd? Maybe Liverpool would be good to see
