  1. Yep and it is going to cost us. This can't be done on the cheap imo. Unless we unleash the Perez scout/scoutess/thing and he/ she comes up with a blinder... Otherwise get your cheque book out fatty and prepare to go large...and for once not on the fries.
  2. Other way round for me. we have one right back, one unproven CH and one unproven young LB... The rest are varying grades of shit, shitter and the shittiest ever. Midfield, centrally is poor and needs upgrading, no arguement but our defence is the worst in years. Including the keepers. one good. rest unproven or shit...and fat...and an arse licking cunt t'boot.
  3. Less shocked at Pardew and Carver, but for me this should have been non negotiable from McClaren. Obvious to all in football we are shit in this dept..Oh we have the 'numbers' but they are all tripe. or in the case of Chamcel an unknown qualtity about to be tripified by osmosis from the other tripe surrounding him.
  4. In your opinion obviously. imo I think we will. If McClaren is called in to be grilled by Ashley about the poor results, I would imagine that he would just say it's because he hasn't been allowed to buy the defenders that we require. If the story is true that he wanted to bring in a big vocal centre back but was told that would be too expensive so instead handed Colo a contract extension, then the fault lies with Ashley and Charnley. I don't see how sacking McClaren is going to plug the holes in the defence. 100% in agreement on that. Yet still he decided to take the job, knowing full well our CH are not good enough. Shows a weakness from the off for me, so I have no sympathy with him at all on that matter. He obviously felt confident, comfortable or just wanted the job so much that even with the idea of Colofuckwit, Taylor, Williamson and Mbemba being our choices he decided to not push it...weak and a failure for me. Maybe he has now had assurances that that commanding, experienced, CH (and others LB, DM) are to be bought in Jan? Who knows... Wouldn't be like this lot to back down imo though. I want him to succeed, never not wanted any NUFC manager not too succeed (have hated some, adored some and been meh about many)...I just think he is not inspirational. talented, driven or frankly good enough for to get the best out of this group of players.
  5. In your opinion obviously. imo I think we will.
  6. Maybe right mate, personally I think the pace going forward etc, on the counter attack has happened ad hoc mid game. Boro supporting mate of mine has been screaming that he is a negative coach at me for ages. Maybe I am being harsh, just don't see him inspiring improvement at all. Fuck I just want us to use our current assets better...and invest...
  7. Can I have a pint of what you have been on Ian mate. Top ten is a dream this season. Exciting actually! No way imo. Our back 4 and midfield are piss poor. We shall see. As for playing better, I think that's more by accident than by design.
  8. We may be well adrift by that point though mate? Dilly dallying could see us lose vital points imo He is club captain, guaranteed a starting place when fit/available....sadly. Partly cos our manager didn't have the balls to demand he was replaced. A naive Norwich side who continued trying to play through us, despite getting humped...good win no doubt but an easy three points really when you look at the the game. I was very surprised by their tactics. Hmmm not sure myself we would still have won the derby..we are fucking jinxed in it imo. Fair point re ref decision..maybe we would have, who knows. However we didn't and have 6 fucking points. Next couple..............we lose one we lose the other imo. Fragile as fuck.
  9. He failed miserably in his last two jobs. He is failing in this one too. Maybe he is suited to a less pressurised league? IE the Dutch division, it's really been his only success. I agree he isn't, or hasn't been on the PL merry go round.
  10. Nailed on isn't it Stoke will have point to prove too imo... These two see a change, again imo.
  11. What, reagardless of who the new man is? What if it's Kinnear or Carver? No mate, but a change imo, even a temporary one for this season only to someone who can galvanise this squad would give us a better chance. Not just anyone (Carver etc) but maybe as unpalatable as it would be, an Allardyce ish appt would imo work in giving us a better chance. imo our current manager is a failure and will see us down. Investment is obliviously vital in Jan... Solid, experienced CH, left back and DM are the keys for me..and a keeper on loan.
  12. With current manager a solid 8/9 out of 10. He is proving himself a rapid failure, actually considering his last moths within management, he is just proving that he is a failure. Change and down to 5/6. We are a poor side. defensively and in midfield. With a new manager our chances improve imo, and of course massive, targeted and wise spending in January.
  13. Baffled as why some cannot see the obvious. He is not the man for the job, he won't keep us up, he clearly is not this great vaunted coach that sections of the media have reported on historically. He is failing and failing miserably with a squad that has some talent in it. We are deep in the shit. Anyone who cannot see that we, along with our neighbours, are one of 4/ 5 sides that are facing a season long relegation battle, quite frankly are either blind or just ridiculously optimistic. Bournemouth will go down. Injuries, lack of depth and naievity will see to that. Norwich will go down...see above. Then we are in the crap, up to our necks, with the Mackems, Villa and imo West Brom long term. They have recognised it, and made a change...It may only yield them 10-12 points extra, but that may well be vital. If we persist with this chump then we are massive third faves for relegation. Out of his depth, dull as dishwater and no inspirational qualities at all it seems. Ashley will act imo. Another couple of defeats and he is toast. Now all of this being the case we all know why we are here, MA, transfer policy etc, etc, etc. But I cannot imagine us just accepting our fate without a change being made, itwould be madness imo. Next guy may even just be a stop gap. Short term, keep us up then look for longer term replacement. if not then I personally think it's pretty inevitable we will go down.
  14. Noone could have got Watford surely? nah that one is a goner. best I have done. Mind you undoubted last minute goals to scupper...Bollocks Boro just score....LOL oh well.
  15. Christ got 3 out of 6 scores bob on for super 6...hopes for 4
  16. the waste of fucking space....
  17. He will just use the Wenger phrases ad nausea....weak and frail wasn't it? Personally think he will be sacked. This will not be acceptable for Abramovich. Players clearly divided.

    John Carver

Hung innit. Best and biggest coach in da league...
  19. Oh he's a goner ain't he. Ancellotti back at the helm?

    John Carver

On Talksport this week on the Colin Murray show, Didi Hamman referred to Mourinho's waffle, meltdown and delusional shit as 'Carveresque'. Brought a wry smirk.
  21. After all their shopping in France this summer i wouldn't be suprised to see them looking for a French manager. Wonder what Garde is up too...
  22. Sherwood out after today? Lose this and is he a gonner? Looks a haunted man to me.
