Certainly the signings so far look of a good quality (harder to tell with Mitrovic, but he has had some nice touches and when he settles in I think he can be a hit). Disappointing things for me is some of the s**** that still stinks the place out, Elliot, Williamson, Obertan et al. Moving this s*** out and replacing with better in the next 2 windows is the next phase, if they do that I will say well done (will be better late than never mind). Plus we seem to do some very odd things with our young players... Don't get the Abeid or Kemen things at all.

Agree Exciting forward options and even if our defense is the weakest part, we still have a touch of quality in there. Frustraing as hell that two/three more signings would really improve us immeasurably. Cant see anything but finishing behind Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs, Swansea, Everton, Liverpool and maybe Southampton if they get there arse into gear. We should be 'challenging' for 8th in reality as things stand imo.

With the forward players we have it would be ideal. Mind you with some genuine width (which we seem to have a possibility of) a front two could work as well?? if needed....Mitrovic looks like he could a right handful as a proper number 9. Sadly yes. Problem of course is that three of them are varying degrees of shit (Williamson..grade A top class shit, Taylor thick as shit and Colo past his best and slow as shit). The rest are unproven, too inexperienced and maybe even not gonna be good enough in the long run anyway. I was expecting way more of Lascelles, he's one big unit. We are gonna have to score shed loads in any rate this season.

Disagree with you on that. Actually the opposite where players with potential leave us and don't fulfill their promise. Bit of both in my opinion. Vianna, Luque, Cabella et al..we have our share of guys with reputations simply not cutting it at the club to varying degrees, as well as some (fewer in my opinion) who have left us and then realised there potential sand some who simply flop everywhere. Either way we have a very weak record in developing players. Not too many in recent years have gotten better with us... Wish the lad luck. Tidy and tricky player undoubtedly but think he was maybe too slow/ dwelt too long on the ball for PL? Hope he does well in his career.

Agree with Teasy. We have varied options, 2 good and pretty proven performers, one who looks very promising and OK a piss poor Riviere. IF Cisse goes then we obviously need to replace, but for anywhere near 15m or even into double figures CA would not be value for me. Better to look elsewhere. I don't think Cisse will be off personally.
