Agreed. The new approach to offside overall is great for the game. But sometimes it might be in danger of getting stupid like in that instance. Of course that pass was for Torres who was then active in that play, ref should have blown his whistle.

Carroll's probably just learned to use his body and pace more effectively. Shola might have lost a bit of weight in the last month. Been one of the best all round performances I've seen from him.
