they were ... relatively speaking though. That has got to be Souness' biggest achievement (in terms of task difficulty) making so many fans totally apathetic.

I'm not sure that faith was the right word. But yes, I've nothing against those who thought he deserved a chance to prove last season wasn't just a 'honeymoon period'. Now we've come to realise it very much was. exactly! This has nothing to do with the likes of backing Souness all the way to 2-2-06! He deserved to have a go at the proper job.

yeap. The club gave us the "we'll think long and hard on this decision" about bringing in a top top manager, then just stick with the temporary one... well it hasn't worked, they need to swallow their pride once again and get out.
