Please turn up next week! Best game in the league this season for sure. He needs to cut out that risky ball when he turns back the middle especially when the full back has made the overlapping run. Makes us more vulnerable to the counter attack.

We did have that situation during pre-season. Serves them right for tapping players up.

I will just post this again from a few days ago but with a bit more context. I still remember watching his signing on video and not knowing too much about him. The YouTube (JLA) was raving about him saying this is a game changer for us. I was thinking at the time, just save us from relegation. I have always liked players with flair but the fact that he backs it up with his passion, workrate and leadership, he is just Mr Newcastle and gets everything about the club and fans. I could go on and on and list several more things such as celebrating tackles, his bromance with everyone at the club and his emotional interview in both finals, but what he has gone on to achieve and do on and off the pitch will cement him, for me, as my favourite ever player.

I love Pope but it felt nice to not panic when the ball was played back. We retained possession a lot better which is crucial away especially from home. Hope he starts vs Spurs.
