what did he do different to what he does at the end of every home game ? Stayed out for ages and applauded every stand. Seemed to be making a point of it. him and beye used to every home game. didn't see much of a difference today.

No, but there could be a deadline at which point Ashley feels he has to employ a manager and bring his players in, both of which a potential new owner may not want. hardly a deadline beyond which a deal can't be done.

re the thread title at the mo "ashley extends club sale deadline".......do any of the people who write these stories (i shan't call them journalists) think it's likely that after the "deadline" if someone got in touch with ashley to buy the club,could prove the funds etc then ashley would say "deadlines gone,sorry". there is no deadline.

Oh get lost. He was a hero of mine growing up. He was brilliant for us under Keegan and people on here have short memories. I've read people calling Ketsbaia a legend and give him the job because he kicked an advertising board but what we'd have given for Ginola in his pomp last season. tbf what would we have given for ketsbaia in his pomp last season. hell man you can go as far down as stephen glass and it would still have been an improvement.
