  1. playwise we dominated without creating a lot. we played the vast majority of the football which i wasn't expecting. be interesting when we play the more physical and direct teams.

    RIP sale thread.

Yep that's on the ticker on the BBC site as well. oh dearie, o'leary. if we are pluging those depths i'd rather george graham but then again anyone bar kinnear or john gregory.
  3. 2700 actually - sell out from our boys. And that tit of a BBC commontators contributions where appalling throughout. About par for the BBC. We ALL know about Timmy boy. No exceptions. The pillock was surprised by the cheers for Ranger too. he actually started by saying "the 500 newcastle fans" till he was corrected.
  4. luton...non league. that is harder to get used to then us in the fizzy pop league.
  5. fc santa claus in finland would still be my second team if i had to have one.
  6. would and i wouldn't as from a gambling point of view the noregian and swedish leagues tend to be good for me.........maybe if i watched what was goung on it wouldn't work.
  7. what were these quality games that barton had under keegan ?
  8. Show some respect. R.I.P. yeah whenever anyone dies lets get all RIPish. it's a shame but today many thousands of people we'd never heard of died, quite possibly many more deserving of a thread. there is a cloying sentimentality around at the moment that doesn't ring true. Many thousands die each day, yes. It's different when it's someone you actually knew existed though, and even more different when it's someone you actually knew. It's different degrees of acknowledgment of peoples deaths, it's really all easily understandable and I fail to see why you do not understand it when pretty much everyone else does. Then again you're probably just on the wind-up as usual, albeit doing so in this thread is more bad taste than your usual groove. R.I.P how many RIPing actually knew he existed till this thread was created, still less how many personally knew him ? it's a shame for one to die young but for all qwe know he could have been a nasty t***. i'm not on the wind up. in general chat i put in the what mood thread that i was confused about the over sentimentality towards Sir Bob with kids of 6 and 7 who didn't have a clue about him or what he done signiong his condolence book....this is a similar thing. I'm gathering they would have been told about the man that he was, anyway, if they're Newcastle supporters it would make sense to respect someone who played a big role at the club. my guess is most would see "died" then RIP it without question or maybe a quick wiki. It's just a sign of respect to someone that has passed on. People aren't exactly going to say "Burn in hell fuckhead" are they? It's really not such a big deal that people are R.I.Ping someone they didn't know much about. it's not a sign of respect. it's a sign of wanting to appear to show respect which are seperate things. since diana there has a been a sentimentality of unreal proportions around the deaths of those we don't know. pre diana if someone had said "espanyols captain has died " the reaction would have been "shame but so?" and now we all play the concerned grievers because it looks right rather than being right.

  12. who cares what you think....what does the organ grinder think ?
  13. Look at past performances, not just for us, but for City and so on. Then compare to what we have. not just for us....whats that mean ? hes been cack for us,nowt but a drain on the resources since the day he came with NO performances to make you think it may be worth it.

    Jonas Gutierrez

    replacement ?....replacement ? hahahahahahahahahahah!
  15. 1...at which point in the past has he proven himself to be our best ? 2...at which point did we say "i don't care how much of a t*** someone is providing we win".......can't be gone soon enough for me.
  16. should have been gone a year or so a go.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Sadly thats true good grief I'm actually not on the wind up. As said above, Duff will easily hit double figures for goals this season. All Jonas will do is contunue to run and run but disappoint in the final third. gutierrez will be in spain before august is out.
  20. i doubt i could muster up enough to be angry if he shagged my wife and mam before going.
