I think I lasted one week with 6-0-6 with Mellor. Danny Bakers was brilliant. It was like Good Morning Vietnam when they got rid of the Robin Williams character and thought they could replace with an absolute Guber who thought he could be funny and do it within the rules. (I know Bakers not liked as a TV cockney wanker but his radio was good)

Could we stretch that to other teams in the league in general ? Ive watched Arsenal a good few times this season and you'd never think they were top of the league and favourites for the title on performances. I dont even mean being great. I think we are at a transition time in football where what was working has been counteracted and we are waiting for the next stage in evolution but it's not there yet and no one is quite sure what it will be.

Don't you do it, say you can't stand such and such fans but you dont mean every one of them. My experience has a far higher quota of Scousers being that than any other group and it is a bit of a tribal thing.

Come on man I havent said every Scousers like that, just in near 60yrs on this planet Ive had by far worse experiences with them than anyone else and the mindset does seep in to the culture.
