I think the next move forward in football is more fluidity. There'll be 2 or 3 positional players in a team but the rest will be very mobile. Nicks technique could play into this especially if heis hold up play builds up.

There's an argument to be made, that far out, defenders getting back etc. For me the ref even got that wrong, it was serious foul play, no attempt to play the ball and took him out at knee height.
