so you expected him to break even straight away while inheriting a wages ratio of over 60% ? Are you saying the debt levels went down? where did i even hint it ? i'm asking you how, with the wages being by far the largest swallower of cash and built in with long term contracts you expect him to cut the debt straight away It’s implied by the context of post I was responding to, which incorrectly claimed Ashley wiped off £90m of debt. i suppose he has. the banks are no longer owed any monies bar what has been used out of the overdraft facility. now it's up to ashley how much he asks for the club.

thats the killer question.......can't see him wanting to write off 100mill but cant see anyone paying 100mill up front, plus the loan, plus the overdraft. edit. i have to say thati think the loan wil be wrote off as it is the only way he'll get shot of the club, also if he wanted it paid back 200mill would be the mgic figure not 100mill.
-
depends if he gets the loan back. can't see anyone paying 100mill,paying back a 100mill loan and a 35mill overdraft for a championship club.
-
he didn't pocket the monies from incoming transfers or sky tv money. they went into the clubs accounts which when added to all the other incomings wetre still some way short of covering all the outgoings.
-
all i wanted in the end, was world domination and a whole lot of money to spend. everything i touch, everything i see. fame and fortune, immortality, but it's not really much, not much to ask, just the same as everybody else.

Might not have a choice if Real get the players they want. They have already got what they want? he don't want to leave and has a contract, want to fight for his place and has said it himself. There was suppose to be a trade with Inter with Robben and Sneijder for Maicon but the word is Sneijder ruined that deal because he refused to leave and Inter said that he must be a part of the deal. They still want Ribery and Alonso. If they sign Sneijder wont get near the starting 11 surely. apparently ribery is a no go for this season but has agreed for next season...ronaldo style.

nufc went backwards after signing shearer...should that be a guide as to the player ?

are real trying to offload him already? it took him a while to get into stride as he was coming back from injury but he went on a scoring run. i'd still like to see him back at ajax, but that's probably not going to happen huntelaar took the hump and hasn't been happy there since he was omitted from the champs league squad. He wasn't really omitted tbh, they just chose to include Lass instead of him. Obviously they decided they needed a DM rather than a FWD in their Champs Lge squad. Bit pathetic if that is really his reasoning. wasn't that obvious to him. his thinking was probably he should have been in instead of one of the other forwards. But they weren't allowed to do that. They got dispensation to allow 1 of Lass/KJH to be in their Champs Lge squad. Both had played in the UEFA cup before they had been signed. Technically neither of the bastards should've been allowed in, but somehow Real Madrid wangled it and got dispensation to allow 1 of their 2 signings to be included. i didn't know it was like that.......but regardless huntelaar thinks he should have been the one in.

i'm slightly uneasy about someone coming in and us being a chelsea or man city. a bit like finding a couple of cheats on a manager type game that give you much more money than the rest and hasn't really been earned but you can now blast the rest out the water. bet you don't feel as good about winning......................or is wiining the only thing that counts for anything these days ?

There were others around him putting in far worse performances yet probably earning a lot more, so can you really blame him for wanting to be paid on a par with the rest of his team mates? Iirc he only signed an extension the year before and had done f*** all to merit a rise. Just because others were earning ridiculous wages shouldn't mean he should, as that's what many people on here defended this board for, for trying to bring the wage structure under control (which was a load of s***) so it can't be had both ways. I'm not saying he should have been earning rediculous wages, but what I am saying is that I can understand a person (in any job) wanting a pay that is on par with other colleagues ultimately doing the same job. when they admit that their pay should be cut or they should be sacked for shit performances then footballers may have an argument for pay rises within their contract.

first off......for all the identities have not been revealed the fact that bids have been tabled has been confirmed by seymour pierce. secondly.........i'm pretty sure they don't have to even meet for any completion to be done.

before this time next week.

thought the two bids were malaysian and american ?
