The only qualm I'd have about that is that the interim manager does well, drags us up the league and performances improve, so we decide to appoint him full-time. Then we think "oh goody" and he's appointed as full-time manager. However in his first full season, he begins to lose it. He makes poor signings, some of which are panic signings on deadline day and we're back to square one in terms of what we're seeing on the pitch. I think this happened not so long ago somewhere.... thats why i mentioned keegan and venables who would probably prefer a job upstairs in the summer

listening to a few different groups in the pub (before and after), most think now is a bad time to be attracting a new manager but want rid of allardyce,so an interim could seem an option ? i did nose in to others debates and various names came out of those who would possibly do it.......keegan.venables. the idea being that they dont want the long term job and would give us some time,experience and entertainment. even worth keeping on in some capacity at the club...proxy DOF to persuade players to come here. whilst not being pressure on the mangemebnt side as they dont really want that anymore. thoughts

my feeling that allardyce is on trial has not changed and he is only there as summer will be a better time to get a new manager.
