roeder would have been in a job till after the watford game, shepherds hand was pushed as right now every second counts for persuading people to renew their season tickets.allardyce was coincidental and fortunate for him.if it was all a plot it would have raised fewer eyebrows had allardyce waited till the end of the season.
-
because the press that we slag off and deride for printing lie upon lie have told us
-
everyone seems to assume cos alleardyse(9 yorkie geordie)plays a 4-5-1 at bolton he will do here.i've always thought it would be interesting to see how his teams would play if he went somewhere with better resources.......looks like we may be the experiment.

Do they go "i won't do this", then suddnly start bleating on about it anyway when their f****** GENIUS ideas of playing random players out of position, and failing to replace s**** players, don't work? when the s*** hits the fan they all clutch at straws re fegusons rant about having a league game, mourinho saying we had the likes of huntington to call on......and yes they've both played players out of position,...didn't replace the s***..got me there, you're lying if you say he didn't try to replace a few them though. Who did he try to replace Babayaro with? Or Ameobi? Or Shambles? You've shown in the past your bizarre love for the man, so there's nothing more to say without going over the same ground. You think he did a good job/tried his best/did what he could/whatever it is you have dreamt up. Good for you. I don't, good for me. The end. i understand he tried to replace babayaro with bridge(if the cole deal hadn't dragged 0n) and bramble with woodgate, huth and zat knight.ameobi i haven't got a clue, you do apparently as you know everything that goes inside SJP. you've shown in the past your bizzarre hatred for the man,so theres nothing more to say blah blah blah......................................... what i have always said is he isn't as bad as you make out as a manager and person but your childish over exageration on everything to do with him is the kind i got over when gordon lee sold supermac. You've no idea whether or not he went for Bridge any more than you do that he's not a bad person. Total conjecture, as always. As for not being a bad manager, i was under the impression that you followed NUFC. My mistake, clearlyt, as if you did, and actually watched a game, you'd have seen what this lying, incompetent, stupid cretin was doing. to me a s*** manager gets his team relegated.,thats what i mean about you going waaay over the top,you know i've already said i don't think he's a great manager or the answer to what we need so do stop and make out that i have......and i've met him a couple of times, nicer bloke than keegan to meet in the street. What total toss you are spouting plenty of good managers have been relegated with teams.......Brian Clough for one..that means nothing its the resources you work with..jose mourinho couldnt have kept Watford up, Big sam worked to his full potential with the resources available at Bolton and done a fantastic job, with better resources and more money, bigger club, different playing staff he will be good for this club he will come and get rid of stench of s**** that has been lingering for too long and what was he working with..1 forward and a shit defence that he tried to change. as for brian clough he HAD been an excellent manager but had lost it by the time they went down, take a look at his squad that went down,it was quite good yet you'll blame roeder for our results but not clough for forests...bizzarre

thats me. theres two ways to look at this, 1) when we were shit it's those that went that kept the club alive for the rest to enjoy later 2)if we hadn't have went when they were shit the board would have hd to do something.

recently alex ferguson blamed injuries and league fixtures for them getting tonked off milan, mourinho has constantly used inuries as an excuse all season, benitez did at the start of the season they won the champs league, wenger can't see his own players foul someone from 3ft away put can see a penalty appeal from 50yds at pitch level........all managers lie and make excuses when they get beat.

Correct. So Shepherd sacks him but pays Roeder off in full if he says he resigned. Roeder's reputation is tarnished rather than ruined and Shepherd (as you say) says I did get the right man for the job................... i'll bet at no point will fat fred say roeder would have got it right given more time.
-
Dean Marney If it's not him clue... is saying david beherall is correct not a big enough clue ?
-
if he doesn't leave now,he'll only go when pushed.he'll be here next season which is his testimonial season
-
Milner maybe, The Zog if he has another good season, but i don't agree with any of the others. Taylor isn't there yet, Emre you've overpriced, no chance on Given, Martins might get what we paid, PArker we wouldn't. we disagree ...well fancy that
-
very recent talki of ground sharing with hunslet rufc while elland road gets re-developed(or built into luxury flats)
-
depends what you mean by small....emre prob about 5-6mill,milner the same,taylor similar,given 8 or 9,martins minimum of 12,parker 5-6mill,n'zog about 5.
-
it tends to go season wise, the reason for shearers(and rob lee's i think) was that they weren't going to be here the following season

10 years is up in august making next season his testemonial season

the re-telling of the steve watson story. at the height of the fantasy football fad we decided to do our own,we met in the barley mow(?....was it the barley mow that is now "stereo")one sunday afternoon to have an auction for our teams, whilst doing defenders steve watsons name gets mentioned, the debate goes on,will he play at the back or up front so one of the lads says,"why don't we ask him,he's just over there".........and he was,and we did,he said he'd be happy to play anywhere, then he went to the bog,on his way back he asked "how much'd i go for?"
-
Not necessarily. In some countries it is illegal to advertise for alcohol at sporting events (I think France is one) so there have been ocassions where a new sponsor is made specifically for an away game there or no sponsor at all. aye, sure we had "centre parcs" once
-
does he score, does he win the ball, does he dominate ?
-
never rated carrick, never seen him dominate enough yet seen him disappear loads, very tidy player but aplayer i'd be miffed if we bid more than £7mill for.he's helped out with man utd having much movement but is the sign of a good player that they can do it in a poor team(good question for later actually)

how about "double over spurs" or "2-1,2-2,0-0 & 0-0"
