  1. Norwich have been up there in the last 15 years, and they thrashed Bayern Munich no less in europe. And with crouds of 25,000 in the championship im sure they could pull in 30,000 in the premiership. ok dhelia, now about my yorkshires, should i line thin tins with fat or oil?
  2. without being locally prejudicial i dom't understand anyone puttind the mackems in their...FFS i'm soon to be 40,i'd be surprised if the mackems have spent 10 yrs of that in the top flight.
  3. john bailey david white derek jardine derek lillis mick mcarthay nigel batch bob bolder claudio marangoni
  4. Wimbledon??? why not,i went with the clubs i always understood were top flight clubs when growing up,it take a long long while to not accept them as being as big as you think they were.
  5. shit.....can i replace boro and stoke with wolves and derby?
  6. nominate who you think should be in the top flight and also your reasons ie "just grew up with these in division 1" or "biggest clubs" or "just recognise these as top flight clubs",only league of 20 allowed. 1 newcastle 2 man utd 3 liverpool 4 arsenal 5 leeds 6 spurs 7 everton 8 man city 9 chelsea 10 aston villa 11 sheff utd 12 west ham 13 QPR 14 stoke 15 boro 16 west brom 17 birmingham 18 coventry 19 southampton 20 notts forest clubs who've been "top flight" in my mind throughout my life...................wasn't being spiteful missing out the mackems either
  7. gonna make a new thread about this sort of thing..ie who should be in the top flight.
  8. Aye they hate each other, but I get the impression Burnley fans are completely mental, and the place itself is one big Scotswood (nee offence HTT), while Blackburn fans seem completely reserved from my experience of the place, I'm hearing the Hovis tune in my head, but I'm sure they could turn nasty on derby day all the same. Bradford v Huddersfield is very rarely mentioned, but in terms of deaths down the years at those fixtures I think it leads the way, bad thing that mind. bradford/leeds is very spiteful aswell recently
  9. cough* 4-2(sinton 2..mathie,cole2,allen) i think off hte top o me heed
  10. Most of Portsmouth is 10 feet below sea level anyway, so global warning should see that this venture is f***** within 20 years. 36,000 is too big for them anyway. "I O Pompey...Pompblub blub blub"
  11. can't speak onthe boca/river affair but what the others all have in common is "one city"...ours doesn't have that,to a large extent we don't mix, close examples would be liverpool/man utd or derby/forest....close enough to know each other well but far enough to stop it being rivalry and as has been touched onin another thread something that stretches way beyond football.

  22. lol aye anyone remember that Italy vs. Chile match from the 1950-60s? like 7 players sent off, haha, youtube it. Some crackin challenges. If there is a god, then the chelsea/liverpool match will be similar............ the david coleman build up is brilliant. anyway, think liverpool will win over 2 legs but want chelsea, don't really care much though
