The loan system as it is just helps larger clubs hoover up talent. It will change in a year or so when we start using it like Chelsea and Man City.
-
I don't think so. The Willock/Longstaff position is.
-
We'd definitely be 4points better off. Can't remember the Palace and Bournemouth games clearly enough, I know we dominated but can't remember many clear chances.
-
He doesn't play wide left when paired with Willock. They switch, they are the central/ left/midfield/attacking duo. Great in theory but neither carries much goal threat or creativity against a low block.
-
It wasn't every game but when they happened they were calamitous and always cost a goal.

When one of the Taverniers scored a winner in a Tees/Wear Derby a couple of years ago , he was hanging round Westerhope McDonald's with his mates within 2hrs.

I defo think Saint Max and Isak will start on Tues and that was the plan before Palace regardless of the result but I think the dropping in is only an issue while he gets game time and gets in the rhythm of his team.
-
Just watching MotD, why is there a couple of minutes of the Palace/Man Utd game on as a build up to ours mainly featuring on Man U ? (Astroblack gap).

Re Boro, I work down that way a fair bit and they're OK. They are looking for a place in the world as their local derbies are against teams who don't see them as their prime derby. Plus they don't hate us the way they did.
-
Just that other players didn't seem to get punished for every mistake. His first half V Arsenal when he got Bergkamp subbed at half time is possibly the best 45min centre half performance I've seen at SJP.

I was at that Ayresome game. I was also there a year or two before when they done us 3-0, ructions on as they say. Started off with bricks off the railway bridge, ended up with a running battle in the streets behind the ground.

Titus was unlucky as well. He could play 99% of a game fantastically but that 1% would be clownlike and cost a goal. He got away with nowt (on the pitch)

It's his press thats a bit of the problem. It's like Miggys used to be, badly timed and angled and is usually just a sprint towards the ball, not trying to press play into any area. Miggys press is a different beast altogether since Eddie came and the team press has to be with everyone on the same page, pressing at the same time with the idea of pressing to the places you want.

Just the team coach isn't it ?
-
They can charge more for Dragons blood, given its scarcity.
-
With Dragons blood please.
-
Someone with the hustle and workrate of Longstaff but also a bit of a goal threat/creative pass.
-
Add in Bournemouth twice and Leeds.
-
2 out of our 3 midfielders (3 out of 4 really) lack an incisive pass or goal threat.
-
What say if he's Richie's and Fraser's replacement ?

Martin Luther King would have looked like a twat if he'd wore an Everton top.
