I had no idea they were playing yesterday till their score came on the big screen. Nice little bonus.

    Kieran Trippier

He's our captain. Others may wear the arm band, toss a coin, but we can all see who leads this team.
  3. He is quite skinny (I've stood next to him) but he shrinks on the pitch, he drops about 4inches when he gets the ball.

Aye, worried about this, seemed like he pulled up after a sprint in the first half but carried on, Wilson, Willock as well seemed to struggle muscular wise as well......hope we have got some good physios in.
  5. Whispered that in the pub after the match.
  6. I'm not sure like, ASM seemed like normal, rugby league player, give me the ball and see how far I can get, especially in the first half when he had options to lay it off but didn't. Second half slightly better as he seemed to get the ball deeper and they were stretched more when chasing the game

It happened with Cisse and I think Wijnaldum. They were fantastic when they thought they were going there, then, when they found out they were coming here, they became shit.
  8. Bit of a pisser if, like me, he hates gardening.
  9. SSN saying he'll have an extended period of gardening leave before taking up another role. How long will that be ? End of season ?
  10. I hope he's better than Colo when he first came.
  11. Look, I was all in and Dan Ashworth now you bring this in. Not fair.
  12. There's a great book "Home and Away" by Karl Ove Knausgaard and Frederik Ekelund and it's their letters to each other about football and life and culture, Karl loving the dour, workmanlike game and Frederik (living in Brazil) the exuberant and reckless. Think you'd like it.

It changes now and again but gently mocking at most. Have a look on their place though, they are deranged, much to our amusement.
  14. There was often bother at Leicester back in the day. Seems like the veneer of their plucky title win is slipping.
  15. Yeah, can't wait for it....to get it over with.
  16. JNK. Yip, thats exactly how I see us starting on Tues.
  17. Oh I think he'll start him but with Shelvey mainly charged with being the transition guy from defence forward.
  18. That's what I mean. I don't think the EPL is more open and it's why I think Bruno won't start in what will be his ultimate best position for us until Howe is certain he's up to pace with the speed and physicality of the prem. (Which I dont think will be an issue)
  19. I'm not so sure, he was without DCL and Richarlison for a large chunk and I can see Brentford escaping due to their early season results when they were an unknown. Tuesday could well give us a better guide on both teams.
  20. You know the new manager lift isn't an actual thing and now I'm not sure about how strong their squad is.
  21. Don't know if its an outside chance but should we win on Tuesday Evarton are 100% in it with us.
  22. Is it a bit more open than Ligue 1 ? I wouldn't say so.
