We currently have Tino and Trips capable of playing there also. Its just unfortunate that 2 out of the first 4 choices for full back are injured. There's only so much cover you can prepare for.

And Id say Nick needs to adapt to being more of a spearhead when we play a 3. Its a 2 way thing which will come. That was how the ball broke. Throughout the game we set up flat and there was a gap between midfield and defence (do you want them on each others toes ?), the defence weren't outnumbered so could pick up players as and when balls were played through. If their players take up between our midfield and defence do you want our midfield to drop onto them or try to block the passing channel ? Or do we go man to man all over ?
