  1. This makes no sense. 12 points on 3 players that's not playing twice.
  2. I would but I can't find a contact email on the site. I can't make any substitutions or captain changes as well. Really frustrating. Thank god I've already made my changes for the week before it happened.
  3. See the printscreens above, it's been like this for the past 3-4 days. Cant seem to solve the problem, tried reinstalling my browser, clearing my cache and cookies.
  4. What browser are you on? I tried every browser but to no avail. http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/2228/78760820.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/1198/57364823.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  5. Anyone else experiencing problems with the site? Seemed to be bugged, can't make any changes or transfers.
  6. Couldn't care less as long as the team is competing well in the upper echelons of the EPL and Europe consistently.

    Alan Pardew

What about the fact that Pardew criticized BenArfa after matches for giving the ball away at the back, and criticized him during matches for trying to play it out from the back. We have scored goals since where BenArfa played the ball dangerously out from the back. You cant just twist everying to suit one viewpoint based on hindsight. Anyway, I'm off for the night. Aye, true that, it's not as though I've been championing Pards all season Not sure how some can fault Pardew's handling of Ben Arfa earlier in the season, except his daft comment about him not having the relish to play on the wings. It was clear that HBA just wasn't match fit earlier. He was fit but his touches and control were simply off. Many a times he simply ran the ball straight into an opponent or out of touch, showing little signs and mere flashes of his exceptional ball carrying, skills and energy levels we've seen thus far. All these at a stage where, to be completely honest, we were still thinking about securing points and top half safety. Could Pardew have gambled and started HBA in games earlier? Possibly, but his pragmatic approach ensured that HBA could be eased in, to his and our frustrations, but we're seeing the results now. Gradually HBA's fitness picked up and his performances improved, making impacts against Bolton, Blackburn(facup), Fulham, Arsenal and Sunderland, before Pardew finally saw that HBA was ready for regular starts. I don't think any of us could be a better judge than Pardew in deciding whether HBA should start or not. We don't see him in training like Pardew does but what we do see from his earlier performances it was clear that HBA just was simply not up to speed. So fair play to Pardew and he handled it as well as he could really.
  8. Quick fact, Spurs have never finished higher than 5th in the years that we have been in the premier league.
  9. They were not worthy. Amazing how most of us were gutted when the move didnt turn permanent. I was one of his biggest haters but am more than happy for him to stay in his current role. Won me over proper.
  10. hello stoke fan here so dont bite my head of please i must say i havent laughed so hard in my life after reading this ! i cant belive youve got the nerve to even start to slate stoke im not being funny mate but neewcastle arent gods gift to football and to slate stoke for playing a style of football that suits them is amazing !and I wonder if two of their players scrapping and ripping each others shirts is a better way to 'play the game.' That doesn't sound like a footballing philosophy to me does that ring a bell ? Damn right it doesnt. Hmmm defending your team's style by bringing up an example more than 7 years ago that has nothing to do with footballing philosophy. Ever considered a legal career?
  11. Thanks for the translation, much appreciated Was really a strange sentence from Ba here indeed. Said something like : "Hatem doesn't like when we say it but he dislikes when we see him working hard"... Well I would say I'd pay to see Hatem training hard because he's not very near to be the laziest player I've ever seen when training. Look at him during the warm up before matches, he just does the minimum effort! It's crazy, don't know how he does for the match after... But if he can score goals like yesterday, don't care tbh... There's something about that sentence which reminds me off someone who lacks(or lacked) inner confidence - they're shy of people seeing them try hard...and also a sign that a previously troubled person has been able to turn a huge corner in their life Yep, looking into that WAY too much Completely untrue. Being the talent that he's been all his life, he probably made things look easy without having to look like he had to work very hard. This is probably the first time in his career where he really had to work his ass off after his legbreak and he's not used to people seeing his hardworking side, hence the shy and reserved reaction. Not that I expect most people to understand the psychology of a genius.
  12. Not sure if anyone spotted this but there was a possible homo-erotically charged moment between him and Guthrie during the celebration for our first goal. Check out Ben Arfa, Guthrie and Cabaye's expression especially. Laughed really hard but not sure what to make of it Was the second replay of our goal, around the 22nd minute mark if it helps.

Not really. Don't remember any of the counters starting from a defender. For the goals at least.
  14. 4-3-3 Jonas tucked in on the left of midfield 3. Perch LB. Ba left wing Barfa right wing.
  15. That could well be the set up and, i think its looks canny actually. Having said that though i reckon it is Perch at LB and Jonas in his normal LM position. People still moanin when we are starting with Ben Arfa, Cisse and Ba....Get a fuckin grip man. Santon has be ubershite recently. Cabaye and Ba both need to up their games today. 3-0 Ben Arfa, Cisse and Guthrie. Like it actually. Santon Taylor and tiote in for willo, Simpson and perch and we could have our best team
  16. Probably get slammed for this but someone like Dyer would've been perfect for the role in a midfield 3 with Tiote and Cabaye.
  17. Another tactical discussion on our midfield. http://www.zonalmarking.net/2012/03/15/tiote-cabaye/ Cant view it though since I'm not in the uk. Anyone knows of any proxies that would work? Tried a bunch of free ones and they're all crap.
  18. Chuckled slightly when Obertan somehow tangled his legs with the ball and out of play in the 34th min. Think he did okay in the first half though. Don't see how he's done 'fuck all'.
  19. Canny cross by Routledge for Swans' goal tonight. Cant remember him ever putting in a cross like that in his time here.
  20. Moot point really, we were owing the same amount to multiple parties and paying over 7m in interest annually. Now we owe Ashley and dont pay any interest, presumably. How is that a bad thing?

Our general play and defending has been better when we play a high line in defence. When our defence is deep it leaves gaps between def and mid, as well as mid and attack. We've often struggled when opposition players exploit the gap between defence and midfield. Also we seem to have a hard time building our attacks through the middle simply because our CMs' starting positions are too deep. My opinion anyway. We do struggle against pace though so its really Pardew's job to find the balance. i'll say it again, i don't really think we play a high line. there have been times when our defence has been sucked in and caught high but we've also been caught sitting too far back and inviting the oppo onto us in the same games. one of the highest lines we've played this season was man utd at home and it worked a treat. We certainly played a higher line when Taylor was playing, since Williamson came in we've dropped deeper presumably to compensate for his lack of pace.

  23. Anyone else had to sit through David Pleat's woeful commentary? Full of bullocks and clearly biased towards the mackems. Every time we had a penalty claim he would say 'no thats not a penalty'. Even when replays clearly showed Turner's (i think) hand striking the ball way above his head, he was adamant that it wasnt a penalty. Even Steve Banyard sounded baffled.
