Even if we don't exactly set the world alight under this guy, I'm just looking forward to having an owner and manager everyone can get behind. I just want to be able to go to matches and concentrate on getting the points rather than just listfully wondering when our state of limbo is going to end.
Fuck it, haven't had my hopes up for ages. Going to believe this is true and going to happen, and if it doesn't I'm going to climb up the Tyne Bridge and toss myself off.
You heard me.
If this was offered two weeks ago it doesn't bode well for any lingering hopes about this "Still about to be sold to a Dubai consortium in the next few days" story.
It will be availible to download off the 5live website about 9.30pm
Can you not listen live on the net?
Yes here:

We're not back in the championship. we've never been in the Championship before
Ashley doesn't have a contingency plan, he doesn't have any fucking plans. All he does is watch inevitable things happen and act surprised, then make a half-cocked rushed reaction after the event. He's no more competent at selling the club than he was at running it.
Quote if im wrong but you have the same story running on this site??
Not sure what you mean - there are people talking about supposed ITK stuff on the forums here (to some derision), but there's nothing recent about the takeover on the news page that I can see.
If it doesn't happen is the response going to be a hands-up "OK, my ITK was mistaken/talking bollocks and I put too much faith in him" or "It must have hit a snag and been called off at the last minute, it was definitely happening... Maybe it's just been delayed"
Oh noes, we had a sub 17,000 attendance one season when we were 11th in division two and when the third highest attendance in the country was Crystal Palace with 19,000. What terrible fans we are.
Sheep fiddling leek squatting cockleg.
Please stop me registering to call that Cardiff fan a cunt and lecture him about where our worst season for attendances put us in relation to other clubs at the time.
