  1. The only bad thing about the Burnley result is having to watch Man U fans acting like martyrs on facebook, telling each other to "Keep the faith" and "Keep the red flag flying." Poor buggers, ey, must be a hard life following Man U
  2. I think people are still psycologically affected from when we sat around laughing at all this media bollocks about Keegan being unhappy, Ashley not looking at the books properly before buying or wanting to sell up, Wise meddling in transfers etc etc.
  3. Always seems to end up the wrong side of strikers, always seems to commit himself, fail to win the ball and have to run back with no chance of catching them, hoping that they fuck up their one on one or someone else gets to them. That said, we aren't organised enough to actually make a signing and replace him if he goes,.
  4. Do we even have enough kids to get 11 people on the field and a full bench if we lose another three players, on top of the 10 already out the door, out of a squad that was too small last season? I'm struggling to think of anyone we have available who didn't feature on the pitch or bench on Wednesday. Barton and Butt both didn't feature on Wednesday Well, guess if Butt gets fit and Barton can go a game without getting banned we only have to magic one kid up. Be interesting to see who plays in Newcastle Reserves matches this season when we're having to play our 15 and 16 year olds in the first team. Toddlers? Sperm?

  6. Noticed that fucking knacker Monty and his slag (Millie? Myria?) were fannying on at half time on Wednesday. Hadn't seem them for a while. Hoped they'd been taken off the wage bill. That or got caught in an old six-pack holder.
  7. The results so far could turn out the be the worst start to the season we could have had, if it's given Ashley an inflated idea of our chances of promotion and therefore an inflated idea of what the club's worth.
  8. I've not seen anything to indicate that he's not that stupid. Our good start to the season's probably made him think we're going to walk this league with no need for things like players or a manager and he would be stupid to sell now and let someone else cash in come the start of the next premier league season.
  9. Never really listened to this, at the moment some cow is on whining that she didn't get an anniversary card. What the fuck has this got to do with sport?

  14. They looked genuinely stunned for some reason
  15. You mean Man Utd's Ronaldo one? No, our Lovenkrands one
  16. Either the mackems or Chelsea are singing a song to the tune of our Peter Lovenkrands one.
  17. I don't see how the fact Ashley's trip to whever wasn't specifically to seal the deal immediately obliterates all of the "in discussions with Moat" stuff, calm down.
  18. His family found him dead in the Sunderland shirt he promised to wear, but they quickly dressed him in suspenderers with a pair of tights around his neck and an orange in his mouth to preserve his dignity.
  19. Even when he's made poor decisions you can't be angry at the fella, considering the circumstances. This story in the metro yesterday reminded me of his postion http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article.html?90kg_shot_putter_takes_on_100m&in_article_id=720733&in_page_id=34 Why Well, you know. That lass wasn't a sprinter, she was a shot putter. Chris isn't a manager, he's a coach. They both got put into situations that weren't their forte and got on with it, made the best of it. Yeah, she didn't win because she's 90kg, but she didn't come last. Look, this made more sense in my head, OK.

  21. Be hillarious if they miss out on promotion or go down on goal difference.
  22. David Craig: Speculation over past few days about cut price deal, but they are in discussions for a £100m deal. If Moat successful, Shearer shoe-in. That's what fans have been asking for. Newcastle have had a brilliant start. Remains to be seen what happens. There are two unnamed consortiums as well, three groups still involved.
  23. It's a student pub with roof terrace near Central Station. It's not bollocks, it's alright, tbf. I robbed a huge Bacardi wall scroll from there and hid it down my pants. It's now on my kitchen wall.
  24. He'd be a cracking signing and I reckon he's still got it. He might be 34, but the attributes he's relied on during his career aren't the ones that vanish with age.
