When we beat Man U 5-0 they released a special edition with a pull out and us on both the front and back pages, plus a 5-0 t-shirt offer. Like most of the media, they built us up when we were the underdog "entertainers" and now they're loving watching us fall back down again.

I'm an enormous hypocrite because I always talk about how disgraceful hooliganism is, but if I ever hear there's been a fight between us lot and someone else I always hope we won.

Even with everything up in the air, we should at least be sorting out getting Lovenkrands back, bearing in mind he actually wants to come here and he'll be cheap. I don't think any future owner or manager would be pissed off with having him in the squad.

We're not fucking organised enough to actually buy players. Selling players is easy because the other club does all the hard work. You know, stuff like deciding how much we're going to sell the player for.

Lived in Stoke for a few years and they have a larger than usual contingent of apes, who also seem to love smashing shit up following England matches. Anyway, here's the thread about this incident on their message board. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Potters&action=display&thread=90941 Birmingham and Stoke have a history of this kind of thing - there was some of the worst violence of the 90s when they met at St Andrews in 92 and a Birmingham fan lost an eye after being attacked by the Stoke mob a while back if I remember correctly and there's been tit-for-tat revenge attacks each time they've met since (and indeed there's talk of "revenge" when they play over Christmas on that Stoke board)

Hooray! Ashley must be delighted, he's sold all those useless players that were stopping us from winning games and he can get us back in the premier league without even needing to hire a manager or buy any players.
