look, having to play like that for 90 mins is inviting s*** decisions, s*** tackles, cards...............its s*** tactics sorry and very very rarely gets you anything. Not new though, is it? We did this last season and it got us a top half finish when all was said and done. Once again, let's not forget that Rafa WANTS the club to be more capable of going toe-to-toe with the likes of Chelsea on a regular basis (obviously not in the league standings). Ashley won't let him. As such, goal difference could be an important factor at the end of the season.
