Anyone coming in now is going to take a little time regardless to stamp their imprint on the team. Bump or not I wouldn't expect our form to massively change direction but to be steadied and maybe pick up a few wins before end of season. The real optimism for me is January, seeing what's improved and if we can kick on to comfortable safety. And then, of course, what the summer brings.

He was immediately declared haram after being asked to tell an amusing anecdote about him self and dropping the "how's the bacon did ya say?" story

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you all that voting starts in just 4 short months for Favorite Foreigner and Tommy here never once advocated for a return of Pardew.

it's a weird lie to peddle especially when according to the PFMs Rafa was the most defensive manager since time began and yet somehow all these fans who bray for attacking football really liked him hmmm i wonder if there could be another reason for hating bruce and for him not having a clue besides the fan. Fuck off to your immaculately appointed Spanish villa, sam.

The most partridge_shrug.gif piece of news ever

All of my prior joking in the thread aside, no, one more game with him isn't going to make or break the season. Possibly even two more won't matter. He absolutely can't be here come November though. I know there's a lot to sort out, only been a week, new owners, etc. But they cannot afford to dawdle on this too long.

because the report(s) in "according to reports" is Jason Burt's article in the Telegraph https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2021/10/06/newcastles-man-city-moment-expect-organic-growth-not-statement/ Where he talks about the former Project Zebra I can't find any reference in the article to any details about that plan. Google around a bit about "Project Zebra" and the chronicle references the Financial Times about it: But I couldn't find anything further about that being over 4 years, or the assumption the facilities upgrade would eat 100m of that. At this point I decided I was tired of digging and that it was all made up.

I imagine we'd not be in a place where we'd have to sell if we didn't want to. But if we did there would be talent planned/in the wings instead of Charnley's frantic Gumtree search for a secondhand striker on deadline day. Just getting to a point where we could reliably scout talent will be a task for anyone coming in. Nevermind getting the staff and facilities to actually develop and improve them afterwards.

Picturing Bruce as a Trump like figure detailing the meeting to Edwards. "We had a great meeting. One of the all time best meetings I think they'll say one day. Miranda and Merman were very impressed with me. Said they were big fans of the many, many great things I've done. So many incredible things. Things that certainly would have never been done by a certain spaniard I could name. I won't say it but we all know who it is. And I think we'll know a lot more in the coming weeks about their plans."

His comics have always run the gamut from somber to slapstick tbh and this is just one of the more serious ones. It's not bad even if the material all feels a bit well-trodden at this point. That might just be fatigue from the last week though.
-
Shouldn't have even bothered taking over the club if they weren't prepared to trebuchet Bruce into the sea within 24 hours of completing the sale. Absolutely shambolic.

No I mean there's no fear like that, it's more like the kid waiting for christmas. Like can barely sleep
-
Jokes aside, I 100% know it's going to happen, but I still can't shake this anxious feeling until it does.
-
okay sportswriters the lampard joke has been run into the ground you can stop chucking him in to rile us up.

Surely there has to be a sizable amount of gumbrained people who agree though too. No one hate-watches/hate-listens enough for it to be sustainable.
