Yep, I just hope they have a canny FA cup run to distract them from the league, with us knocking them out.

    Sunderland

This season however it is mid table.

    Sunderland

1.16 points per game or so I read?

    Sunderland

Since Poyet took over they have mid table form tbf.

They aren't though. I'm an obsessed mag, I check their results before I check ours.

    Fulham got spanked by Hull....

    Moussa Sissoko

Wouldn't have been the worst scenario for him to get booked tbh

Personally, I hate that. You know what I meant.
  9. Been away over Xmas, and Yaya © didn't play Ozil (v) didn't play. Had a right mare. Wildcard used. Mannnone, Bardsley, Chamakh, Walcott, Debuchy all in.

They have a decent run coming up, they haven't lost in 5. They seem to be playing Villa and Fulham at the right time. 6 points from that is a must for them. Also love how it was always a given we would beat them, now its a given they will beat us.

Their perfomances aren't exactly bad, they aren't getting spanked like Fulham.

Just think he's spent poorly, and didnt really prepare for the Premier League too well.

Lets be honest though, Mackay isn't going to cut it long term as a Premiership manager. He's in the Hughton bracket, nice guy and done well at a troubled club in the Championship, but he's out of his depth at this level.

    Sunderland

That was under Di Canio. With teams as shit as these two anything could happen really.

    Yohan Cabaye retires

Hopefully he will have a cracking world cup and add on 10 mill to his value, I expect France to flop massively though.
  16. Yeah, probably 4-2 City. City are unstoppable at home.

Can't really see any threat from Cardiff. I think Whittingham is a decent player, but not sure at this level.

    Sunderland

In all honesty they have lost a lot of coin flips. They have only been heavily beaten once under Poyet, and that was his first game. I think defensively they are pretty decent, they just can't score. Adam Johnson or Giaccerini are due a flash of brilliance. If they can't beat Cardiff then I think it is game over for them. but even if they draw they will still be 3 points from safety in all likely hood, going into a home game against a poor Villa team.
  19. Why would we go for Trippier though? He'd cost a decent wedge for a fullback, and we have Debuchy, makes more sense to go for a Haiadara type.

    La Liga 14/15

Fair enough. How come Monaco haven't been punished? They cant be turning a profit?

They also have 2 winnable games against Cardiff and Villa. Cardiff are probably the worst team in the league. I know Sunderland are bad, but IMO if you cant beat Cardiff with all their on the pitch and off the pitch problems, you might as well quit now. Glad Brown is out for that one.

    La Liga 14/15

Not really, a team spunk away loads of money, then are luckily saved by someone who just clears the full debt.
  23. It's truly extraordinary that he's still getting a game in the top flight. Even when he's been in the Championship, his goal return has been p*ss poor other than one season with Cardiff when it was alright, seven years ago. When you think of the number of players who have scored hatfuls in the Football League and never got a top-flight look in, it's absolutely f***ing mental. Blame the shitcunt managers who keep signing him because he's fast and strong. Worked on Pro Evo 2.
