I agree to an extent about Cabaye, but I still believe he's playing in the wrong position. One sits in front of the back four, Cabaye and Sissoko in the middle, Sissoko getting forward, Cabaye floating around passing it about. Never tried once by s*** for brains, but so obvious and just where Cabaye played for Lille. Its surprising some of the stuff Pardew has not even tried. Not once was the HBA - Cisse - Ba front 3 with Ba on the left tried.

Have you only been following us for a couple of years? The seasons under Souness were far worse. Far worse in what way? I can safely say I've enjoyed two games this season - Chelsea and Bordeaux at home. In Souness' first season, we got just as far in the UEFA Cup but far more enjoyably because we scored a shitload more goals (28 vs 13), got to an FA Cup semi (Spurs and Chelsea at home were great days), the league campaign was f***ing dire but we still managed more away wins, less away defeats, less home defeats. We also finished 11 points clear of the drop, which we'll be lucky to do this season. It was rotten and yet there's literally nothing about this season which is better. As usual you're talking utter toss. Agreed.

Not really, as he's very good going forward. We have to use his strenghts. No point in playing him if can't bomb down the wing. I know what you mean, but we continued to play it down that side even though it wasnt working. Having a full back like that is a luxury, not plan A.

We play 2 rigid lines, defence and attack. Cabaye and Tiote we so deep, then Sissoko was miles away from them. This team's potential is falling by the game with that prick in charge.
