Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

I’m legit shocked, I’m 37 and the place is relatively close but I’m pretty sure that’s the first picture I’ve ever seen of the islands and already checked how much flights are. -

I had no idea Faroe Islands are that stunning. I don't know whether to be disappointed in myself or the person who is in charge of their tourism. -
Interesting, thanks. Should have probably known that's it's down to Youtube know tbh.
-
You used to get in trouble for posting fixture lists and any compilation videos were a massive NO, still not entirely sure about videos but was encouraged by the goal compilation in Barnes thread.
-
He posted his best per 90 numbers this season, only behind Wilson and Isak in the team.
-
Shouldn't have watched this so soon, got proper sad. (I hope posting the video is fine)
-
Ashby is surely loaned out and Manq/Krafth are probably just players we would like to move on from now. Maybe keep the other for really bad emergencies.
-
Seems like he is keen to join as the negotiations keep going on, could never be sure about that as on paper he would be backup for now and must be desperate for minutes after missing last season almost completely.
-
Absolutely no chance of this ever happening when Trippier turns 33 soon.
-
Think you were wooshed too.
-
Trust the process man and shut up.
-
I just don't see how Beardsley or Lee leaving decades ago have anything to do with this thread. ASM is gone, you don't have to visit this thread anymore if someone being sad about it gets on your tits.
-
Just seems like completely unnecessary post and dig at someone. Someone says they are sad he's leaving before getting to play at CL and you come crashing in with 'I'm not sad, we've had better players'. Hope you don't end up accidentally in some random funerals.
-
Why can't people who liked him be allowed to be sad that he's leaving right before a CL campaign? Is that really a subject that needs some gatekeeping due to someone else being a better and longer serving servant of the club decades ago ffs?
-
Yeah, he's not on the same level as Isak/Bruno/Tonali but they are making way more than £60k. Some sites say Gordon went from £10k to 60k after his move, seems pretty comparable player? Botman reportedly earned £12-15k at Lille and is now getting close to £90k a week.
-
Only ASM gets injured, bring on Livramento and Chiesa.
-
Hard to find a reliable number on Isak's salary at Real Sociedad but we have to agree to disagree on Tino's potential salary. No idea what Botman got before this deal but it was nowhere near the current ~£90k and the fee would be quite similar. I would be shocked if he didn't get at least £60k a week and £20-30k is a pipe dream IMO.
-
Wow, I like Gordon's potential but jeez man.
-
It's just how football works now, pretty sure we 5-6x Isak's pay too. £20k would be way too little for someone of Livramento's status despite the injury. Edit. Seems like Isak went from €20k a week to £120k a week.
-
Upfront yeah but I would really expect the £30m to be heavily incentivized (struggling with this word ), maybe 15-20m straight up and rest depending on appearances/team success.
-
If he signs with a £30m fee he'll be getting at least £60k a week, £70k-100k wouldn't be that mad either.
-
I don't think he's a CB type at all despite his height, more likely to play higher up the pitch than as a CB.
-
Are you saying that Ronaldo signed for Al-Nassr because PIF bought NUFC?
-
I think Transfermarkt classify right wingbacks in 3-5-2 as right midfielders so it's a bit sketchy.
-
Nah, I obviously want us to win first but I would be lying if I said watching Almiron is in any way exciting or entertaining. Some people just want to win, some value the entertainment side too. Won’t matter as much now when we are legit good and have a chance at silverware but I still want to be entertained too.
