Howe made a relegation squad that was way worse than what Spurs have even without Kane a CL team in one season. People shouldn’t write them off after one bad season with a manager who didn’t want to be there.

IIRC in Brighton game Burn’s average position was way higher than Trippier’s and we dominated them. Most likely Eddie throwing a curve ball to de Zerbi and it worked a treat and showed that we are not that limited tactically due to Burn’s lankiness.
-
You certainly got that right.

CL doesn’t have many teams that a team who finished 4th in the Premier League should be scared about. Yet according to some we absolutely can’t enter the competition playing some of the players that got us there.
-
Yup. There’s a lot of variance in one single season, so much depends on injuries to us and opponents and being on form for the right fixtures. We were really good last season but the squad is thin and not used to Europe. No one should be disappointed if we finish behind non-Europe Chelsea and/or Spurs and end up 6-7th without even mentioning Brighton and Villa. I’m 100% certain our squad is stronger now than it was a year ago and will once again be stronger for 24-25 than it is now. We can’t forget that we gave a massive headstart to everyone due to Ashley but we are doing our best and in few years are hopefully challenging everyone in England and Europe. One season where potentially our league position goes backwards doesn’t change that.

Much worse trouble if Trippier is injured and we fail to sign Livramento.

I can't see Tonali not starting after full pre-season and Longstaff unavailable.
-
Lying about dressing room liking him would be absolute freak and weirdo behaviour though.
-
But I've been told Howe and the dressing room hated him? And ASM didn't like Eddie.
-
Possibly but Enzo came from Benfica, Caicedo would be sold to a PL rival and is already proven in the league. I think they should be getting the same price, lot depends on Caicedo himself I guess.
-
Chelsea bought Enzo for 100m half a year ago, think Brighton would like to have the same.
-
I got to it through the site, thinks there's just some problems for some people.
-
No one should criticise fans who didn't go during the Ashley years.
-
Everything is fine and dandy as long as you are on the right side of the cut. It must have been great time for your son but I'm not a fan of taking away that same possibility from all the kids of the future due to it being a closed shop.
-
Should have went more often in the past 7 years.
-
I think it would be really good. Still not getting a RW hurts but it’s an expensive position and maybe Gordon can help there.
-
Why would you limit that? Shouldn’t every fan have a chance to get a ticket?
-
I would argue it's at least as much wasting time as breaking momentum. Everyone knows the time hasn't been added properly outside few rounds of last WC.
-
Didn’t we pay 7m for Minteh? I can’t see us selling him after one season for such a marginal gain.
-
How's that even possible compared to what we have now? I'm just saying that if you want to reduce fake injuries, stopping the clock is the logical solution instead of adding 10-15 minutes of added time to the 90 minutes (which results in longer games). If people are happy to spend their time watching Joelinton and Longstaff sit on the pitch, nothing needs to happen I guess.

Thought it was obvious that it would be 2x30 minutes.
