Yeah, cunts like Matterazi think the world of him for a good reason.

Not bad for a competition that he didn't want to be in at the start of the season. The tedious c***. He didn't say that to be fair it was just reported that way to get a reaction like yours. He said "our" history with which he is correct. Yeah okay, as always with him. He said that he didn't want to be in it at the start of the season. I'm sure the context of his message was that the club has a bigger history than this (fair enough - especially if you've never criticised the bigger clubs for their arrogant/elitist attitude) but this was also a moan about the number of matches that the club has to play. Hence why he moaned about injuries and the number of games nearly week in week out.

You're using words you clearly don't know the meaning of. Okay, whatever. If you're happy clap your hands....

i thought you were on about Fernando until I read the last word in your post!

In response to being chastised for being happy during one of the peak periods of the vast majority of people's support. Because we were promoted? And? It's the least we should expect. And we certainly were happy. But so what? That's gone now. So, effectively it's about what Ashley and co have told Benitez.
-
Easily impressed? I've been supporting us since I was first taken to a game by my uncle in the late 60's, we've now got one of the best managers we've had in that time. Yes, and? Ashley is still here, no? Or have you already forgotten what he was he's like? Embarrassing, to be honest. Just fickle and conformists.

We've got one of the best managers that we've ever had and he's trying to build something at our club, words don't come into it. Optimistic (with caution), yes. Happy? Not unless you're easily impressed. Enjoy your misery. Clearly, from my past couple of posts, I'm looking forward to our tenure with Rafa with optimism. It's the likes of you that give football fans the "fickle" label.

Happy? Really? Amazing what words can do. We've just won the league with Rafa in the dugout, it ain't just words. There's definitely an element of our support that won't be happy until a Russian oligarch is buying us meaningless trophies. I wasn't taking into consideration what happened pre the comments. Let's face it, most people on here have spent the season moaning rather than celebrating our season. (I'm not saying it was justifiable.) No need for a Russian oligarch, Ashley fucking off would be more than enough. However, I can see how this middle ground thinking is a little bit too difficult for you.

I don't believe Ashley's statement is quite genuine - he never came across as the sort of person who's liberal with spending with us. I believe it's nothing more than a false hope sugarcoated to the supporters' eyes. I'm not saying Rafa will not be getting his way, it's just that Ashley will be still be monitoring him closely and if it needs to be, he will still have no qualm upsetting us or Rafa. We're falling into the same trap as when we finished 5th - most people were happy to stay quiet about Ashley. When it inevitably collapsed, only then did we started to pressurise. Is this going to happen again? Yes, most likely - however, I wouldn't blame the fans as it wouldn't be within our self interest to rock the boat. (ie - having someone like Rafa is probably once in a lifetime opportunity, considering the current state the club were/are.) But, this doesn't mean that we should be told to stop being pessimistic or to not occasionally highlight that a fuck up is just round the corner with Ashley. After all, why were we anxious before yesterday's announcement? That's right, because we know Ashley is an eternal CUNT! Of course we can be happy and just look forward to our tenure with Rafa, as I am, but questioning fans' pessimism, especially at this early stage, is strange, in my opinion.

The news today confirms (in theory) that we're going to be run like a normal football club, with a top class manager in place. Any NUFC supporter that doesn't recognise that's something to be happy about must have had their eyes and ears sellotaped shut for the last decade. Or maybe they're just as thick as fuck and think the Ashley era has been acceptable. nice spin.

That Ashley quote is not reassuring whatsoever.

Away goals ruining yet another potentially great spectacle .

Is this fake or not? (Not talking about the belly)

Even on a very good day this gets bumped up.

Young for a keeper. Atrocious English, btw.

Same old Tottenham, then. Can't wait until next season to hear it all over again from the media about how great they are.

Fun88 are one of the firms that refused to pay out any Cheltenham winnings from last year due to "suspicious activities". (Matched bettors) I was one of them that they kept some money from. Eventually they paid up following pressure on social media. The bastards.
