Who said that? Man Utd fans' banner, man.
-
You said during the 2010 WC that had England qualified for the next stage, they would have probably beaten Ghana. Fuck off, Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave! I did? What a strange thing to make a mental note of. I know, didn't even do it on purpose.
-
BTW, Rooney, white Pele? Fuck off.

 @ Manchester clubs.

There's another funny bit from the press conference (or maybe some other conference) where lets rip into that show, calling it "crap", etc. But I can't find it.
-
Yes, I was on about that...... it came off Terry. And yeah, Cech saved it iirc.
-
I think he missed it and came off Terry.
-
I know, but the media in the past couple of months were basically harassing us (the fans) to admit that we were wrong and Ashley is getting it right, blah blah blah....
-
Ashley's "successful" policy well and truly paying off. Glad I didn't jump on the bandwagon.... *cough* easily impressed media *cough*.

We need a tiote type player in the middle.
-
So, what are the chances of us now dropping down to midtable due to our growing injury list and SMB, with MON spending in the January transfer market, overtaking us towards the end of the season and even maybe just about giving us a good game at SJP?
-
He's done better than expected this season, but the first time he comes up against decent wide players, in the last 3 matches, he's been caught/found out. But with those 3 fixtures now gone (where some argued it would unwise to throw him in), Santon deserves his chance now. Disagree. It's happened all season. He's contributed massively to giving Krul the chance to shine as much as he has. In the last three matches, it's been capitalised on more, that's the only difference - but it's not just the Big Three who've humiliated him. He's not a competent left back. Gervinho on the first day of the season.

Maybe it was Pardew's intention to keep the same shape, but because we had HBA and Lovenkrands outwide, players that are tactically and defensively not aware, this contributed to the space that Sturridge and Mata used to trouble our defence. Normally when Simpson and Raylor are in possession, we're used to seeing someone infront of them to pass it to. But I don't think it was the case today..... HBA cut inside too much and Lovenkrands is just a not a LM.

He was never going to do that, tbh. And I don't particularly see a problem with that, we've gotten this far with that formation and there was no real indication that would change. I think he made the right call with Loven, he played well and always does his job when asked to support defense. He was never going to do that, tbh. Our shape was different, Obertan looked lost in the centre and HBA and Lovenkrands just didn't look comfortable enough out there.

He should stop trying to play his way out of trouble and just fucking run directly at the defence (like v Everton), that's when he's most effective. All this twinkle toe stuff fucking pisses me off.
-
What a fucking keeper.
-
Completely arse-raped by Sturridge.
-
I don't know why on earth he changed our shape for this match. I mean come on......... Raylor and Simpson against Sturridge and Mata with HBA and Lovenkrands "protecting" them? Fuck off! He should have started with Santon at LB and moved Raylor to do Jonas' role.
-
I thought he looked gutless today. He just comes across as really dumb! Whatever the Man Utd scouts saw in him.
-
He did alright, I thought.
-
Unlucky with that effort off the line.
