Why? What's he on? 80k isn't it? Pretty sure we won't go much above 50k. Whether we should or not is a whole topic by itself. So "couldn't" is a misrepresentation. And I've no idea what he's on, neither do you. I do know that they have made out like Enrique, Barton, Nolan, Carroll were all on mega money that was unsubstainable and yet the wage bill has supposedly gone up by 7%. So what are the new lads on? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/6990213/Daniel-Sturridge-could-cost-Chelsea-as-much-as-6.5m.html

Why? What's he on? 60k when he signed for chelsea, if you believe one report.

Aguero hat-rick!
-
How about we just get on with our season now?!
-
Physically yes, but mentally he was at least 45. and stop discrediting my arguments with facts .
-
Augero raping the league already.
-
Unless he says something funny on Twitter..... Then post it in the Twitter thread.
-
Hopefully after the QPR game this thread will stop being bumped.

I hope Napoli win it. Inler and Pandev should be step forward for them.
-
Where's that debate, mate? Still Shearer for me.
-
imo, the PL and Bundesliga are the 2 most exciting leagues in the world now, with the PL being the best in quality.
-
He was in Switzerland doing the scouting. No doubt keeping an eye on Derdyiok and probably now Shaqiri.
-
Yeah, and David Craig needs shooting in the head for saying that he received a call on his mobile from the Twente chairman telling him we made a bid. absolute cock head.
-
Exactly. "Newcastle United" is no longer eye catching. Load of fucking rubbish.
-
Asamoah Gyan cost him the 250k box as well.
-
I wouldn't get him anywhere near Joey Barton!

Disagree, first goal was a tap-in following horrific defence work, the second was a decent shot that 18 out of 20 keepers in the premier league would have saved ( 4-5 of the keepers would probably have held it too). A tap in? yeah right! His movement off the ball was quality and the finish was good. Or the defender was absolutely shit for not following him. Okey maybe not a tap-in, shot in the middle of goal from 3 meters out then...potatoes potatos The defender was with him until Bendtner suddenly checked back to make the space for him to score. Sorry, but that's a great centre forward play. The sort of movement Sir Alex Ferguson praises Hernandez for. But no... I guess it's because the whole world is shite! Not that I'm a great Bendtner fan or anything, I think he's still got everything to prove and justify that arrogance that he displays. Pure twat.

Yeah, good stuff. Load of footy on ESPN this weekend.

I'd love to know how that Tiote thread made it in the Man Utd forum. Class. (Let's hope he doesn't make their team. )
-
Is that a dig at Ben Arfa for being injury prone?
-
Well before Liverpool came in for him, many of us here said that there would be no point in selling Carroll because we would be unlikely to use his cash and unlikely to find a better replacement. In Carroll, he is probably the closest we could have had in terms of the Shearer effect. (i.e, still pose a threat and provide a decent amount of goals even in a shit side.)

Quite suprised at how blunt they are...was expecting more censored questions.. Also apologies for starting a new thread, but none (other than the Pardew/Transfer thread) seemed relevant.
